Great food, very expensive for Chinese food!

We have ordered from here 3 or 4 times before over the last several months. Food was good, delivery was fast and price was fair. I called tonight to place an order for myself. Which I have ordered before with no problems without a minimum. Tonight I called for the same order General tso chicken combination and a pint of white rice. They have delivered just that before no issue. Tonight there was a minimum to deliver. So I added one shrimp egg roll. Still was not enough. So I had to add beef sticks. Finally was enough. Then they asked would I like to tip on the card so I said yes add 5 dollars for the driver. It’s only a few minutes away. I got a weird text like like from a door dash delivery service saying your order has been confirmed then another text saying your delivery has been picked up and then another text after it was dropped off with photo verification. It’s like they’re using a third party delivery service now. Very weird never before has this happened when ordering from them. Then I look at the receipt and they added a 5 dollar delivery charge. Plus the 5 dollar tip I gave them. If I wanted to pay door dash price I would have used door dash. Me and my girlfriend usually spend less than the 36.47 dollar bill I received tonight for just me to eat, plus the 5 dollar tip I gave them which brings it to 41.47 for one person to eat Chinese take out. Beware ordering from here if you don’t want to be charged a delivery fee without your knowledge and then adding additional tip. Compete bullshit.

I witnessed this situation also, while waiting for my food. I also spoke to the mother afterwards because I know her, she was trying to correct her son because he was being disrespectful & yelling at her. People should not be so judgemental & come to a negative conclusion when not knowing the whole situation

Witnessed a female employee hit and yell at who I’m going to assume is her child, if not, another employee. Would never order from here after watching that. I hope this is not a normal occurrence for the young man and that the woman’s temper is a one off, but from what I saw it didn’t appear to be an isolated incident. Do better.

I haven’t been to this tinton falls Chinese restaurant in person but Ive order from this actual restaurant thru a 3rd party door-dash! The food is absolutely delicious! Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Monmouth County!

Ordered last night , got the boneless spare ribs. Not good at all. Meat tastes funky and very dry. Was hoping to have a good place for Chinese but guess I'll have to keep looking

This Chinese place is my favorite. They are very accommodating to vegans and vegetarians and their tofu is so good. Also, their vegetable dumplings are my new favorite. They are so delicious.

Amazing food just stopped here on the way home to pick up dinner trying to find a new place in the Middletown area as all the other places in the area are disappointing. This will be our spot! The beef / chicken on a stick and the general chicken all A plus!

The best Chinese food around (and we've tried many places). Our orders are always correct. Staff and employees are very friendly and helpful. We love this place!

I ordered here for the first time today for delivery. The lady on the phone was very nice. The driver called me a few mins before she arrived. Great service and food Golden City!
