I feel obligated to write a review on Nettie’s. My husband and two of our friends went to Nettie’s for dinner. What a disappointment! The service was very slow. The selection’s for drinks were limited. No sangria, my husband drinks Coors lite beer and they didn’t carry that either. The prices were outrageous. I never been to a restaurant that doesn’t even have shrimp dishes. The selection for dinners were also limited. Everything was à la carte. The only thing that was decent was the complimentary bread with the oil. We asked for more at the table and it never came. We will never go back. Very expensive for what you get. Nettie’s has to be the worst restaurant my husband and I was ever at!!!

We came here recently and were Very disappointed. Not sure if it’s a new chef but the food was honestly horrible. Only one person out of our party said his dish was good. The menu is ridiculous as the choices are super limited. The server we had was just strange (why bother asking how our food is if when we say it’s not good the server just shrug it off). The ambience is as if you are in some older bar in the Midwest. The whole experience was just bad. Its funny that they banned children from
Coming here because I’m banning myself from coming here. We have been here before but the place went downhill since then.

First time here and cant wait to go back! The food and desserts were amazing! The staff was friendly and gave good recommendations. We didnt try any cocktails this visit because we did wine instead. I love that it's a child free restaurant so you can dine in peace without screaming, obnoxious children!

I don’t get the draw. Most of the food was overpriced and disappointing. For $52, the tuna should be sushi grade and pink in middle. It’s a very thin piece and way overcooked. I added a photo of the dish. I didn’t like the preparation at all. The lamb pasta was average at best. The list of appetizers are unispiring. Olives, really. The lemon pasta and potato knish were very good. The best part of meal was the bread. There are so many better restaurants in Monmouth County. Sorry but last time I will be there.

It's funny when you drive up to this place it looks like an old diner. But inside is surprisingly different. Much nicer inside. The food was just ok. We went on wednesday so 3 of us 4 could take advantage of the parm night. I ordered the meatball and sausage. Not that great. I didn't care for the fried outside of the meatball. The sausage had a funky taste. I also ordered the house salad. Just couldn't get over the overly pickled taste on everything. The service was very attentive and friendly. Two of my party ordered the chicken parm and one had the shrimp parm. They too said it was just ok.

First timer! Absolutely delicious. Not pictured but we got the ricotta, sausage and meatballs to start. All three absolutely delightful but the sausage will be the reason to visit again. The meat sauce and the texture of the fresh pasta was perfect. Will return. :)

Looks unassuming from the outside. Great vibes inside. The bar is nice and the cocktails, especially the Negronis, were well made. The whipped ricotta is fantastic as was the house salad. As expected, the spaghetti was fantastic (we tried all three available). Portions on the pasta were slightly smaller than expected. The meatballs were very good. The hot vinegar chicken was their signature dish. The sauce was good, albeit different. The chicken had a good taste and seasoning but was a little dry. Overall great meal and worth going.

Had our mom’s birthday dinner at Nettie’s last night and had an amazing experience! The food was especially tasteful and delicately crafted. We did not love the broccoli rabe but they were able to switch it out for another dish. They also had specials available that were especially delicious (tip: go on a Wednesday for the chicken parm). Most of all Angelo was a wonderful waiter who made our experience great! Highly recommend!

Now one of our favorites in the area! Quality food, friendly and informed service, with a nice vibe inside, music and interior with hard wood look. Welcoming bar. A little out of the way along a warehouse district, but well worth it. Easy parking.

Love Netties! Great Italian food and Chef Chris Calabrese is tops! Terrific cocktails and wine list. The Sunday sauce dish is one of the best and cherry ice dessert is amazing!

Last night we came in before a show we were seeing! Our waiter Collin was fantastic he was nice and attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. The pasta with the spicy sauce was amazing. Collin suggested the meatballs and they were honestly the best meatballs I ever had at a restaurant. We will be back for sure!
