We had fantastic Salmon Cream Cheese Bagel, the portion was so generous. The proprietors were very welcoming and kind. Chain food can have everywhere. Support stand alone businesses!

Eli is a horrible human being. He kicked me out of his store because I didn’t want his progresso soup from a can that he heated up in the microwave. He said the soup was freshly made but when I saw them opening up the can I told them I didn’t want it anymore. He kicked me out and wouldn’t give me the bagels I ordered.

Jeez. I can't express how deeply i think you should stay away from this place.I'd been there once or twice to grab a bagel. They were okay.Most recently, i dropped by to pick up some bagels on the way to my parents house. While on line, there was a woman in front of me who had ordered a breakfast sandwich. She asked the people behind the counter about the amount of egg she had on her sandwich. She wasn't being mean or rude. She just thought it was a lot less than was expected, or something of the like.They called the owner (Eli) to come speak to her.Eli walks out, angry as hell. He grabs the sandwich. Throws it open, points at the egg (which did seem pretty meager) and yells at her 'THERE IS EGG! YOU ARE A LIAR!"At that point, this douche grabs the sandwich, slams it into the garbage. Then he opens the register, grabs some bills out of the till and literally THROWS IT at this poor woman. Then walks away.I truly can't express how inappropriate this was. From what i saw, this woman was not being rude or angry in any way. This owner was out of his mind.So. At this point, everybody in the store is looking at each other uncomfortably. I decided to leave and drive a couple miles to another bagel shop.I told my parents about it when i got to them. They said they stopped going there because they'd seen the owner be rude to people multiple times. So this is not an isolated case.I feel bad for this guys family. If this is how he treats strangers...customers...in public, i can't even imagine how poorly he treats his family behind closed doors. Unchecked anger issues. Really horrible experience.

Eli’s once had the best bagels around. My last two egg sandwich’s were puny and the rolls were stale. Yesterday I got bagels and they were not fresh. I will not be going back.
