Great lunch spot in the urban food desert of Trenton city. Awesome homemade soups and the best burgers for miles around. Staff is friendly. Get there before noon as the seats fill up quickly.
Head down S Warren St in Trenton and Checkers is the hole in the wall bar and restaurant on your left. The bar is usually filled with State workers during the week and can get very crowded. I tend to stick with the hamburgers which are flame broiled in the rear of the bldg. If you dont want to smell like smoke, than sit in the front. The chili is also very flavorful. The drinks are good, particularly the different types of martinis. A great little place for drinks and a burger
