I've been coming here for 30 years with my family! love this place
Something has changed at China Chef and not for the better. The original owner Laura I have not seen for at least nine months and when inquiring where she was, I was told she still owns the restaurant. I find that hard to believe as she is gone and so are the old waitresses we used to know. Laura has been replaced at the greeting desk by a middle-aged gentleman. If you wanna call him that who is rude and impatient when calling in for takeout orders or for delivery. But the most Amazing thing is that coming in at 2:55 , that the lunch special was over and we were too late when we clearly were not. And even if we were, we’ve been good customers for about 25 years . We turned around and left. The food right along has been coming so quickly after ordering on the phone for delivery that it is impossible for it to be cooked to order. This is food that they somehow have cooked beforehand reheated and sent out . :the one good part about the place is Justin the driver Who has always been a gentleman and a scholar. The quality of their food is not what it used to be the flavor is different and it is hit and miss. One thing that is alarming is that when you eat in the place there is a gentleman probably one of the chefs who walks out into the men’s room past us seated at least three or four times during an hour dining. I wonder if he washes his hands after taking one of his numerous bathroom breaks and went in to check the sink one day to Find it bone dry. most of the staff, especially the gentleman who makes frequent trips to the men’s room look very unhappy. So to wrap this up, the bottom line is something strange has happened to China chef and without Laura at the helm the quality of the food has gone down and the ambience or the communication over the telephone has become quite unpleasant with this new guy. The one nice person working there And an asset to To the restaurant is Justin the driver who has always been very nice.

The food is not worth the price, a few choice dishes that are very tasty! I get undercooked vegetables and thin sauces that should be thick a good amount of the time. The protein portions vary too much, I just received a dish with a good amount of shrimp and beef but the chicken dish was lacking. Makes no sense money wise. I aim for some of the other Chinese restaurants over this one, if you’re in a bind the food isn’t too bad.

First time eating here and I was really impressed. The waitress was extremely nice, the food was scrumptious, and it was prepared so quickly! I enjoyed the atmosphere as well, which I usually don't pay much attention to. I'll be coming back and trying more of their food soon, no doubt!
Vegetarian options: I had their Moo Shoo Vegetable dish which I use as a litmus test when going to new Chinese restaurants. They passed with flying colors, and I can't wait to try all the other tasty looking dishes!

I ordered a shrimp and broccoli combination with a order of fried chicken the chicken wasn’t crispy like fried chicken is supposed to be and the price of the food came to 27.00 dollars that’s way overpriced for a combination and some wings the only thing really good out to my order was the shrimp and they gave me 4 shrimp and they forgot the fork I was on my lunch break and had to get one from my job

I went and ordered food. The Chinese man who served me yelled at me just because I didn't listen the first time and he spoke very rudely to me.

I have ordered food twice from here. Once for pickup and once delivery. The delivery driver arrived 15 minutes before he was scheduled, so that was nice. My food was hot and delicious. I got the chicken lo mein and shrimp fried rice. One of the best Chinese food restaurants I’ve tried.

This is the type of food that just makes you feel happy inside- Happy food. My server was very nice and quick, as we ordered we were served hot tea. 2 minutes after that we got soup, and 10 minutes afterwards we got our delicious and warm Chinese comfort food. So overall I absolutely love this place.
Kid-friendliness: No actual kids menu, but there is easy to eat food that they will love and meals that are not too far from regular kids' food that they are used to having.

Was yelled at to tip by driver who dropped my food off. When they couldn’t find my location I was berated on the phone and they were extremely rude and hard to deal with. The food was extremely oily and expensive. Not a good experience at all.

The pad Thai looked and tasted like noodles and ketchup. The veggie dumplings are full of water chestnuts to the point that all you can focus is on that insufferable crunch.
