I give classic Subs 4 stars only because I think they could be a little more sanitary when it comes to making sandwiches. For instance, when there making sandwiches, they go from making one sandwiche right to the next without changing their gloves. Also not putting paper down before making your sandwich. Other than that the sandwiches are delicious, and I will definitely go back.

First time there yesterday and we will be back . Delicious subs and love the potato salad so fresh . I got a roast turkey and Swiss the bread so fresh . You need to try them . We were comparing them to tastee subs that’s in Franklin park and Edison . You won’t be disappointed

For over 30 years I thought the best subs in nj were at a famous spot in freehold....but I was wrong. The best Italian sub I have ever eaten was at this joint. Lettuce was crisp, sandwich well seasoned and bread fresh. Frequent classic sub shop often for their 1/2 sub special and have never been disappointed. I do miss the small seating area pre-covid but it's a busy shop so the ly needed the extra room anyway. Get the potato salad, it's pretty tasty.
