The Breads, Jellys , Butters or species of the Eastern Europe are easy to get at this store, Herrings, Species , BREAD, cookies and chocolates are so low in salt and sweet at the same time, they are just enough slated or sweeted . Its one in all area, I have not found a place like this one other than NY. We are lucky to have this store close to home.

The service is very rude throwing bread down and money down. Accusing customer of 30+ years that I lead customers to another store. Arguing with a customer in a public place is unacceptable. I am disgusted with the treatment.

By "European" they mean East European, as in Polish breads and patisserie, and a small deli with kielbasas, ham and bacon for slicing. But, the highlight goes to their amazing rye bread loaves. I picked up a seeded rye today. It was thin sliced and very fresh. As soon as I got home I lightly toasted two and spread sweet butter over them. With hot coffee washdown, they were delicious; slightly sour, and crispy to the last bite. Reminded of childhood when my grandmother and I would walk up to Broadway and 173 St. in Manhattan for a shopping excursion and always visit the local bakery for supplies. There was always a slice of bread for me handed over by the baker/owner who took pity on my slight frame. I also picked up several kielbasa sticks and a few noshes (pazciks, apple and strawberry cheese danish) to see how good they were. Yup. They were uber sweet, but damn good - but kind of messy to handle. The smoked sausage were all tasty and "snapped" on biting. The Trenton neighborhood on upper Brunswick Avenue has a wealth of ethnic delights, and is well worth exploring when in the mood for something unique and delectable.

December 2021Small bakery and market offering numerous baked goods, meats, and prepackaged foods. I enjoyed the numerous, authentic Polish offerings available and the perogies we cooked up at home a few days later were very good. The Polish cookies were also a delight. Some prices were high but it's expected considering the goods aren't available just anywhere.

Your Polish experience in Trenton!Get ready for some amazing pastries and tasty rye bread. Tiramisu is in the refrigerated case. But also get ready to communicate with native polish speakers who are not savvy when interacting outside of their linguistic and cultural comfort zone. If you set some healthy and reasonable expectations, it could be really good, like it was for me.
