This is my first time at this specific soulful place. I struggle with food places in Trenton as a whole, so I was hoping that this place would be a saving grace. My order was wrong. I got a mac & cheese, yams and jerk chicken platter. I ended up getting oxtails, which I really don’t like the taste was below average. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a tasty Soulfood spot. You’re better off going to big easy which is down the street.
We found this place through a youtube video and we were not disappointed the lady at the counter was super sweet. The mac and cheese was really good. The oxtails omg!! So tender the corn bread was the best I've gotten from any restaurant. They even gave me corn bread for my son's to try and they were not disappointed we will definitely be back again. Worth the 45min drive!

This place has amazing food! I found it when I was googling restaurants in Trenton. I'm a new resident and I'm checking out good places to eat. The reviews were good and I am happy to add another 5 star review to their page. The fish was seasoned perfectly. Not too salty but big on flavor. The mac and cheese was very good. It reminds me of soul food in the South. The cabbage was also good. Overall the food was seasoned well. The lady behind the counter was very pleasant and I didn't have to wait too long for my food. I will definitely eat from there again. I can't wait to try the Caribbean food.

Everyone needs to stop by this spot, she has the best food in the area, I stopped in after my hair appointment still have a pink bonnet on when I went in. It felt like walking in grandmas house. Warm and inviting and the food super amazing. Extra plus for the location, this my new favorite spot for good food thank you.
