This is the best Jamaican/Southern place I’ve encountered. Made me feel at home. Portions are huge and worth the money. I had the stew chicken with rice and peas to satisfy the Jamaican food I NEEDED lol and the baked Mac n cheese with collard greens to satisfy my southern taste buds. Come with super good cornbread as well. Super fulfilling. The lady was also very sweet. Later on I also got the Rasta pasta and requested it to be spicy and it hit the Spot! Thank you!!

I take great pleasure in this review… The order was fried shrimp, collard greens and yams on a Wednesday work day, Let’s call the cook Uncle because he leaned out of the kitchen to make sure his nephew was on point with his customer service. The seasoning on the shrimp, had me wanting more, the yams and greens allowed me to converse with myself saying “About time I can enjoy a good tasty meal that’s price worthy, in this area. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! RYRED

The chicken wings were super tiny, they were not fresh. They were room temperature. It’s like they had been sitting there for a while and they had a lil sour aftertaste. Not worth $24. I’m very disappointed with the first impression

This Place sucks the older lightskin condescending black lady at the counter who try’s to act sweet but really funny acting watches me and my girlfriend ponder over the menu for 15 minutes and when we go to order she tells us the only thing left is chicken why wouldn’t you tell us that when we first enter the restaurant? I paid for extra cornbread and when she gives me our food she says it’s no cornbread left I’ll give you a extra one next time I ordered the fried chicken it had some weird white powdered stuff sprinkled on it food is mid at best typical Trenton soul food restaurant always start out with a bang but get lazy in the food making process as time goes on I don’t even want to mention the loud obnoxious girls in the back talking laughing cackling spitting all over the food I’m good off this place. safe to say I’m never going back.

Listen if you have not been go head and head on over! I had the fried fish which came with 2 sides. Man let me tell you food is well seasoned from the fish to the cabbage to the mac-n-cheese! 😍🥰😋😋 I was originally going to another place saw this and turned back around and they did not disappoint.
