Dinner June of 2025, Excellent all around!! The Service!!! The food was perfect!!! Better than the service I had received at Morton's in AC. The booths could be spot cleaned and a couple of older tables replaced, but the people there were exceptional and attentive and on point.

First timer, me and grandson wasn't to please with the food, serve coffee in dirty cup. The price was to high without coffe6 or juice. I won't be back. I wasn't to impress for the price.

Ate here with family after not having been here for several years. Service unfortunately was not good. We waited over an hour after ordering to get our meals (and had no apps) , seemingly as there was a large holiday party in the next room. Our bread came after about 30 minutes which was quickly devoured as we were very hungry by then. We saw many meals coming out from the kitchen for the party. Our waiter never came to update us and we had to flag him down to ask about the status of our meals. While the prime rib and steaks were good, crab cakes were served lukewarm at best, cold in the middle with the breadcrumb crust not browned at all. The taste was good and plated nicely with julienne veggies and sweet potato but not cooked well.

Dinner out on a Wednesday night. The restaurant had plenty of available seats. We sat five people in a booth, which was a little tight but manageable. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. We had one adult using a walker and had no problems with access inside and outside. Kudos to the excellent staff.

I had not been here in years. Food didn't seem as good as I remember and the service was painfully slow. I could hear the staff in th background. I won't be back anytime soon. Shame, used to be amazing.

I recently hosted a company holiday party for 20 people at KC Prime in Lawrence. While we’ve had decent experiences in past years, this time was incredibly disappointing. Since our group required a private room, we expected better service, but it was subpar at best.

Service was slow and inconsistent, with long stretches where no staff checked on us. Refills took forever, and the communication seemed poorly managed. The salad was overly tangy, drenched in vinegar, which most of us couldn’t enjoy.

When the main course was served, it was awkward and uncoordinated—half the table received their meals, while the other half waited about five minutes. The quality of the food was another letdown. The steak, a highlight in previous years, was a cheap, flavorless cut this time. To make matters worse, one guest who ordered chicken ended up with food poisoning. It’s upsetting, especially since this individual was on military leave and had limited time to enjoy the holidays.

Overall, this experience was deeply disappointing, and we will not be returning. I cannot recommend KC Prime for events, as both service and food quality have declined significantly.

Service and atmosphere were great, but the steaks were mid for the money spent. I’ve gotten better aging at Whole Foods and grilling the steak myself. Server was pleasant.

We absolutely love this restaurant, My husband and I have been coming here for years and never had a bad meal here, we even had our company christmas party here. Food is always delicious service top notch, we now know all the bartenders and I love that the owner or manager always comes over to say hello

Friday Happy hour at the bar. Buck a shuck oysters. Excellent quality. Calamari excellent also. Good bar tender and drinks.

Came with the family and we had a great time. The food was amazing. My only concern is that they don't mention the prices of the specials and that I feel is sneaky.

Had dinner here tonight. Wasn't crowded at all and service was very slow. Waiter forgot things for the table more than once. Tuna app wasn't good. Very tough to chew. Calamari was very good and would recommend. The dry aged cowboy steak was bland at best and not very tender. $250 for 3 people with apps, but no booze, isn't ridiculous if the steak would have been better. There's much better places within 10-15 minutes of this place.
