Mama D’s is THE TRUTH!! My husband and I are new to the area and wanted some good soul food. We called and placed an order which I picked up. I didn’t realize I was talking to Mama D in the flesh when I said, “I hope to see you again.” She responded “You’ll be back!!” We were thoroughly impressed - and stuffed - just like the containers of food we ordered!! We THREW DOWN on oxtails, collards, wings, Mac n cheese, green beans, Lima beans, and stewed chicken! Mama D, we comin’ baaaack!!

Let me first say that I googled this place after seeing the reviews I drove 40 minutes just to have soul food and let me tell you I wasn’t disappointed at all! Wow best soul food I have tasted to the mac and cheese to the oxtail and collard greens! Definitely recommend this business! I will be stopping by again ✅

I ordered a platter of baked chicken, fried chicken and candied yams. The items were ready in time and everything was delicious. The chicken was moist and the yams were perfect

Man I stopped by here for lunch an when I tell you this is some REAL GOOD SOUL FOOD!! I had meatloaf, mac n cheese, collard greens and a side of yams...Everything was cooked from scratch and had great flavoring....I will stop by again if I'm ever back in the area!!! The owner also served me and was a great spirit....That also plays a role in making REAL GOOD AUTHENTIC SOUL FOOD!!❤️❤️❤️GOD BLESS ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I placed an order on Grubhub for turkey wings, Mac n cheese and collard greens. Food was horrible. Turkey wings were burnt, dry and salty. It was so dry the meat couldn’t fall off the bone. That went in the garbage. The collard green were ok, missing some seasoning. Mac n cheese had no flavor.Grubhub driver was swing my bag as he was coming to my house so all juices ended up in bag. When he got to my steps he tossed the food on to my steps.Bad experience all around!!!
