Amazing. There is options for everyone the flavors are insane. You can choose between an item based menu a set menu or omakase and all of them are worth it, everything tastes so fresh. Staff is super nice and can accommodate your requests. Price is a bit steep but it’s fair for the quality of the products. Like let me tell you I think this is the best quality of fish in central New Jersey at least. Unfortunately it is a BYOB but they can accommodate. Big fan will be coming back!

I went there last week with my son and husband to celebrate our son's birthday. We chose to sit at the Chef's Counter for the Omakase experience and absolutely loved it!! We could not believe we have such a high-end Omakase experience right in Lawrenceville. The food and the overall experience was exceptional. Would love to go back there many times and recommend to every Japanese food-lover!!

I tried the Nigiri lunch plate and it was honestly amazing. The fish tasted super fresh, the pieces were a perfect size, and everything was really well balanced. The selection had a great variety and each bite was better than the last. It was such a good portion for lunch and definitely worth it. I'll 100% be back for this again.

We have been to Naoki at least 6-8 times, both for their Omakase and their set lunch. Tashiro san is an exceptional. Having a sushi omakase of this caliber right in our neighborhood feels like a gift. From the moment you sit down, it's clear this is a place that takes craft, hospitality, and detail seriously. Excellent service, friendly and courteous. Fresh and delicious ingredients, a good mixture of sashimi, sushi and self-cooked wagyu beef. The wagyu sizzling on hot stone part was interesting and engaging. But when all of the tables began sizzling the meat, the entire room was filled with smoke. And the scent of the cooked meat interfered with the sushi taste afterwards. Also, when sizzling the wagyu, the oil from the fat splashed all over the place.

Fantastic experience. Top notch Omakase made by a master without having to go to the city! Fresh fish, excellent rice, everything was so precisely seasoned just enough to enjoy the taste of the natural ingredient whether it was fish, or Matsutake mushrooms, homemade shrimp paste, every bite intentional and thoughtful. Such a lovely hidden gem in central Jersey. Definitely will be coming back.
