My group of five had a wonderful dining experience at Naoki. The food and the service are smooth and unobtrusive. All the dishes are explained. One of our part was jarred by the spotify music, which ran on a loop from Bach, J.S. to Sorrento. She felt that there should have been Japanese music. Nevertheless, all felt it was a great dinner.

We couldn't make it because of a last minute situation so passed our reservation to friends. First hour next day they texted: "It was delightful! One of the best meals we've ever had. It was a very unexpected treat. Thank you!"

Hands down not just a meal, but a true quality, classy experience that sharpens all your senses. Watching Naoki-sama prepare is enthralling. The staff couldn't be more aware of your needs. The food is beyond excellence.

Delicious, fresh sushi and excellent service in a very authentic setting. We had the omakase dinner and it was perfect.

WOW. I've never had better omakase, even in NYC. Stellar tasting menu, really great price given how much you get, both in terms of quantity and variety. Lovely ambiance, attentive servers, and the fish is excellent. I had their lunch as well - I was not blown away the way I was with the dinner tasting menu, but it was still really good for the price. Will definitely be coming back as often as I can.

Was looking for authentic Omakase and was contemplating a trip to NYC... so glad I found this restaurant instead!! I was thrilled that it was close by and was the quality Omakase experience I was expecting. The food was delicious and artfully prepared. The quality of the sushi was the best I've had. I am already planning a return visit. This will be our new go to place for special occasions!

This is a restaurant where you can eat sushi just like you would get at a Japanese counter! Reservations are required. I had the Shining course?Everything was fresh, beautiful, and delicious. I was so grateful, especially since I didn't expect to eat so much salmon roe in New Jersey. If you are looking for real Japanese sushi, this is the place to go. Everything is fresh, beautiful and tasty. We had Kagayaki course and all of them were wonderful!

Just...wow! I had heard a few people recommending this place, and decided to go here with my wife for Valentine's Day. I was just blown away by the whole experience. The interior is incredible - it's like you walk off Main Street in Lawrenceville right into Japan. There's a beautiful foyer with a pebble floor which leads into the main dining room, which is focused around a sushi bar. Though there are tables, I highly recommend reserving a seat at the sushi bar, where you can watch the two chefs prepare the food and watch each piece of nigiri be placed in front of you just as it's finished. The food here is just beyond exceptional. I can't recall eating better sushi, including on trips to Tokyo and Kyoto. The fish almost melts in your mouth, and Chef Naoki uses additions like a dab of Japanese mustard on nigiri, which he explains to you as he offers each course. The meal is omakase-style (officially six courses, but the 12 nigiri sushi are made one at a time, so it feels like even more than that). Service is perfect. The restaurant is BYOB. There are two dinner seatings each night, as well as a lunch service on Fridays and Saturdays. There's a private parking lot right behind the restaurant. Highly recommended - I plan to come back!

I can't believe this restaurant is near where I live. My husband took me here for Valentine's Day dinner and we had the tasting menu, which was spectacular. I literally felt like I went back to Kyoto. I later found out in the paper US1 that the interior was created by Japanese architects. My photo doesn't do it justice. The sushi was delicious and fresh with a beautiful presentation. I especially enjoyed the seasonal touches added to every dish. This place deserves to be in a magazine. I can't recommend it enough. If you go, I recommend sitting at the bar where you can see how everything is sliced and prepared with extreme care.

Authentic Japanese sushi. I've missed having really good sushi since Ajihei in Princeton closed. The atmosphere is very elegant - shibui, as my mother would say. The staff is friendly. I can't wait to take my adult children.

Newly found sushi restaurant, NAOKI SUSHI DINING which is located only 20 minutes away from our home The authentic sushi restaurant just opened 3 months ago by owner chef Naoki Tashiro with 30 years of experience. Truly authentic and artistic local gem . We could not believe such an authentic sushi restaurant opened in our neighborhood All the sushi toppings and sashimi were fresh and high-quality melted in my mouth. The severs were very attentive and professional as well as if we were in Japan!
