Was treated with pomposity for no reason. very rude, and unnecessary. I told the cashier a keychain seemed out of place and could get stolen , just being considerate. Then another barista swoops in with, “try stealing it and see how far you get”.
Relax, hero. I wasn’t planning a heist over a $2 keychain. I paid for my order, I would also tip (more than that stupid trinket’s worth). I don’t steal, I’m an honest man working for the local government. Maybe save the self-righteousness for someone actually causing a problem.

I absolutely love this cafe. Every time I come to Trenton, I visit and have always had a wonderful experience. The food is spectacular and the ambiance is just as delightful. That being said, today I had a very poor and truly disheartening experience with the customer service. The man with the dark hair, tattoos, etc. was extremely kind to the individuals he served prior to me, but for what ever reason was disrespectful once I had come up to order. I don't know what happened; I have come here multiple times and interacted with him and never experienced anything like this. I don't know if it was just an off day, or if perhaps I had done something to upset him, or what happened, but the degree to which I was disrespected with a rude tone, facial expressions, etc. truly caught me off guard. I wish this cafe the best, but don't know that I will be returning as a result.

Lived in Jersey all my life. Never been to Trenton. Glad I finally made it, found Slamming Brew by accident. Great espresso and a truly impressive bacon/egg/cheese sandwich. I’m told the secret is they are all made with love and respect, can’t find any fault in that when it generates a product this good.

One of the worst coffees I have had. And what ticked me off the most is when I asked for sugar I was told to get it myself and put it. Now here’s my problem with that - when I put the sugar in coffee it did not get absorbed and blended in the coffee because the sugar was too thick. It would have been nice if they just blended sugar with coffee as requested. So when I sipped my coffee I was literally sipping raw and I blendedsugar that came out of the straw.
Thank god for the Dunkin’ Donuts of the world who still make coffee the old way. Never trusting these random coffee shops ever again.

First time customer! The place is beautiful, very clean & cozy. I felt right at home.The staff was so sweet! Very energetic, very informative. Loved their energy.. this place was such good vibes. Food and coffee was so delicious! I got the Dulce de leche slammmachino (frozen) & the breakfast sandwich with turkey bacon 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!!
