Big Easy of Downtown Trenton is a gem! The food here is absolutely immaculate. I ordered the stuffed salmon, paired with salmon fried rice and a side of mac and cheese. Every single dish was packed with flavor, cooked to perfection, and arrived hot and fresh. The stuffed salmon was rich, tender, and perfectly seasoned, while the mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and comforting. The salmon fried rice was a unique twist that brought out the bold, savory flavors—simply outstanding!

The service was exceptional and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Each server took the time to explain the menu items in detail, offering helpful insights into the flavors, ingredients, and preparation of each dish. Their passion for the food and pride in what they serve really shone through, adding a personal touch that made us feel valued and at home.

Enjoyed the high tech roads and especially the clean streets with no trash anywhere , all new sidewalks and new trees planted everywhere ...See enjoyed the Salmon rice ....But the candied yams tasted like booty ,,the prices on the menu were like a cover up for black reparations ...ridiculousness

Really good home cooked food in Trenton. I love to support local businesses and I am so glad that I stopped in. The candied yams and collard greens were so good. I am craving the BBQ chicken. I will be back!

Whenever we are in Trenton to meet with a client our educator, we will be meeting at the Big Easy! We're vegetarians, we LOVED the Marley! Loved the sea moss drinks, Loved the collection of art!

First I want to say, I am a big supporter of black owned businesses! I tried this place out for the first time and I’m slightly disappointed I spent $20 on this meal. The fish is literally what redeemed this meal. The first thing I went in to eat was the Mac and disappointed isn’t even a word for that Mac n cheese! It LITERALLY tasted like it was made out of the kitchen sink that had dawn dish soap in it! Now I’m not a negative person but I do believe in being honest! The sweat potatoes were ok… the fish was the best thing on this platter. 3 stars from me.If you’re in the Trenton area, check this place out.

Food was NOT good! It was my first time and I had to ask the lady who just seemed out of it to mix the food because it looked utterly dry and she looked at me and scooped DRY food. If I eat at a restaurant I need the food to be of quality not something I would make at home and better. I walked in with high hopes but don’t recommend. I was told the day I went the owner was not there so that may have been the issue…..I try to vlog about good restaurants but this one was disappointing! The dining area was clean so that was a good thing….i understand you can’t please everyone but at least mix the food so it doesn’t look like it’s been sitting. Further, don’t look at customers when we are supporting YOU as if we are crazy for politely asking you to mix the food.

Brought take out !! A rib eye platter that comes with 2 sides. And an extra side of yams I didn’t see the ribeye on the menu with a price attached so I asked how much was the platter. I was told 33 got to the register and it came to 38.47. I was confused at that price but didn’t mind it. Just thought that was my final total til I got to the register my total came to 46.55 for a PLATTER. It’s definitely overpriced !! I feel like a gratuity tip was added without my knowledge or a hidden fee bc it’s no way this platter is almost $50. Rice should be included w 2 sides for that PRICE !! The steak was good doe !! Didn’t like the other stuff I got.
