Came here for my birthday. Food was fantastic! Prices are great! English was a little struggle, but we managed. The place is all brand new inside and spotlessly clean. Will definitely return.

There are a lot of pan-Latino restaurants in Trenton, NJ. While they might have slightly different names to their dishes you can expect an offering of mixed grill dishes, fish, rices, empanada or stuffed pockets. Tikal is a cut above with well-seasoned food, great frozen drinks and cocktails, and very friendly environments. Enjoyed their food for Taste Trenton restaurant crawl. The vibe is friendly, the food both delicious and the portions are gargantuan. In particular, the tilapia was fantastic, the picada unique. Drinks were fabulous and reminiscent of a tropical island.
