This is hands down my favorite soul food spot in the tristate area! I come here often, and the food never misses — it’s always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff treats you like family, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. If I could eat here every day, I absolutely would!
Just look at my picture — the proof is in the plate! The portion sizes are generous (I always leave with leftovers), and the way everything is plated shows real care. You can truly feel the love in every bite.

I was passing by on my way to Philly when I came across this place on TikTok! They did not disappoint at alllll. The greens were perfect, Mac and cheese was amazing, salmon was seasoned perfectly. Every time I go through New Jersey I will be stopping here

I would never come here again. They don't take orders over the phone they don't have any type of delivery, the food was edible but not real good, the seafood boil lacked seasoning and was not alot to it for the money. Their kids where running around and the staff was unprofessional.

We looked up the spot & tried to call ahead to place an order but the didn't answer the phone. We called several times. While we were in line we were told it was cash only ( exact change because they don't have change), so we left to get cash. We came back & ordered Baska & Sweet chili chicken dinners with nac n cheese & yams for sides. The chicken was overcooked, the yams were too sweet & the mac n cheese had a tangy taste. The Baska was ok, not bad. Wasn't worth the trip for us.
Food wasn’t worth the price. Salmon was good, Mac n cheese has no seasoning and yams was okay. Lemonade taste like diabetes the next day , atmosphere was nice , place was definitely okay. Staff was okay. Lady looked at me like I was crazy cause the salmon looked dry and asked how old it was . I’m big on food taste and I’d prefer to go to big eazys if I was visiting Trenton.. I don’t recommend Tracey’s.
