I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Old Yardville Inn, a family-owned gem in Yardville, NJ, with a rich history dating back to the 1700s. The establishment’s charm is beautifully preserved, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The owner, Eleni, a second-generation proprietor, exemplifies hospitality. Her friendly demeanor and dedication to excellence are evident throughout the restaurant. The cleanliness of the venue is impeccable, reflecting the staff’s commitment to providing a pleasant dining experience.
The menu features a variety of dishes made from fresh ingredients, including hand-cut beef filets and seafood sourced directly from the pier. The hearty comfort food, such as homemade soups and sauces, is prepared daily by their innovative chef, complemented by creative weekly specials and weekend favorite entrées.
Whether you’re looking to dine in, enjoy a drink at the tavern, or pick up some beer, wine, or spirits to go, the Old Yardville Inn offers friendly and swift service. Their central location provides easy access and convenient parking, making it a perfect spot to meet up with friends or family.
In summary, the Old Yardville Inn is a delightful blend of historical charm, exceptional service, and delicious cuisine. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
It was good for dinner
I was loyal to this liquor store for 10 months never had a problem with my id until some random old man started working there and refused to sell to me. My id works at every single liquor store in Hamilton except when he scanned it. Went to the buy rite scanned perfectly fine. If you see this man run the other way he is rude and disrespectful.
Small but decent selection. Reasonable prices and friendly service.
Great place and good food. We went here for our birthday dinner. We were a family of 5 and went early evening time. The place is a bit small on the dinning side but atmosphere was good. The staff were excellent! I really want to give credit to our waitress Megan. She really took good care of us and made sure we were comfortable. You were such an absolute pleasure , thank you for serving us and making our experience pleasant! You will see us again!
We've always had nice experience's dining here. Brought my wife in during the winter. The fireplace was warm and romantic. Added charm with a bottle of red wine. The food is always good with nice portions. I'll be back for sure. Grabbing lunch sitting at the bar was a fun time as well. Enjoy!
Came in here last night very happy with the experience!! The guy at the counter was very patient, took his time to help a deaf guy just taking turns writing things on a notebook and also trying to understand and meet this guys needs! Helped us and did all this very quick!
Food is outstanding, and the people are excellent. Excellent local bar!
Friendly local place
Liquor store staff are so helpful.
Restaurantji Recommends
Liquor stores are a dime of dozen anymore but has good vibes, not a franchise owned spot the working staff very friendly and prices are reasonable
I was very disappointed. The Calamari although fresh was bland and tasteless, the jalapeños were the saving grace on that dish. The chicken alfredo wasn't bad though. My biggest peeve was the drinks makes me want the buy a frozen dinner and stay home when I want a cocktail. If I wanted orange juice I would of asked for it. On the bright side the wait staff gave excellent service friendly and accommodating.
Food is surprisingly awesome check it out
