Fantastic food, reasonable prices and the lady working there is SO friendly. Great experience at this restaurant, and I'll 100% come back soon.

Ordered their tres golpe for breakfast. Not too bad, their mangu is more of a mofongo consistency, rather than being creamy.
Food is really good , people that work there very nice. And it's a good place to take your family or just a date with someone.

Beautiful atmosphere, super friendly staff. All the way from Pennsylvania to eat some real chimis! Their guava empanadas are amazing as well

Went in a few days ago for lunch. Had chicken rice and red beans. Food was very good and ready in no time. Lady behind counter was very nice. Price was not bad for the food I got.

This restaurant is under new management, and it really shows! Everything about this place has leveled up — the food, the service, and even the vibe.
The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with love. Their chimis are my absolute favorite — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and they even ask if you want your cabbage cooked or raw (which I love because not many places do that!).
Their empanadas are amazing too — they have both Dominican and Colombian ones, and honestly, I can’t even pick a favorite because they’re both so good. And that homemade green sauce? So damn good, I could put it on everything!
The ambiance is really nice — they play Spanish music that makes you feel right at home, and the service is excellent. The kind lady in the front is always so friendly and welcoming, and I even got a complimentary homemade dessert one day, which was such a sweet touch!
Their natural juices are fresh and delicious, and even the food on the steam table never disappoints.
If you’re in Union City definitely check them out — the new management is doing an amazing job. Great food, great music, and great people!

Unfortunately this is my first negative review 😕
I ordered five different dishes
A total shame for a Dominican 🇩🇴 food no flavor, color or real Dominican seasoned just plain boiled food
The pictures are not matching with the actual food or the way they are presented
How I suppose to eat a boiled Yuca without a MOJO!
The Yuca frita was a plain chunk just fried no sticks (no deep sauce either)
Churrasco with mofongo (Missing side of salad)
Asopado de camarones(3 sad 😔 shrimp)
Guys this is not good!
We are not taking about a Dominican restaurant in the middle of the country side of USA.
This place is located in the heart of the biggest community of Dominican people the flavor and the smell should be felt miles away 💔
Sincerely
HB
Pd:I would like to mention that I never visited the place.
The order was placed online and paid for hand delivery.($97.00)
