The mole poblano is divine. Mushroom quesadillas with blue tortillas are so fragrant and memorable. Birria is always a pleaser. Plus their salsas. The quality of their tortillas is unforgettable—fresh, floury, colorful. Love the interior decor. Will definitely return when in the area.Also, don’t forget to keep a lookout for the cute neighborhood cats (outside the shop down the block).

From the first time I went to Chofi's, I was instantly hooked with their tasty and flavorful birria tacos and consume. Very authentic local Mexican restuarant that has many traditional items on their menu and all for a great price. Highly recommend their aguas frescas, and they are also BYOB so you can easily make your own margaritas. There are only a few tables to eat at inside the restaurant but the atmosphere is fun and cozy. Service is excellent, always greeted joyfully despite how busy it usually is. Will continue making this my go to spot for birria tacos and Mexican food in general

They forgot our takeout order but were quick to get it out to us once we arrived.Ordered the Birria tacos, carnita taco, and the mole sandwich (don’t remember the name), and chips and guacamole. I was most excited for the birria tacos but they were just ok.I’d go back for the tacos. The handmade tortillas and tortilla chips are the show stoppers! The guac is simple and fresh.

First and foremost, thank you to amazing young, random lady who recommended this fine establishment! I was searching for something savory on a dreary, wet day. She knew the name of all the dishes and the unique name of the restaurant. The shredded beef taco that you dip into the broth was amazing but the tiny sauces on the side were my favorite, especially the green one. I also got the guacamole which was made perfectly. All in all, I enjoyed everything and plan to return just to try more items on their menu. The location of the restaurant is tough to find parking so you might be better off using Uber eats, grub hub or door dash. I drove there and double parked (not recommended). The only “improvement “ I would give the total meal was that the chips were what I was use to; maybe I got a bad batch- will try again another day. Oh I almost forgot, I got the soup of the day (which is not specified on the menu so it’s a gamble) and it was A-1! Beef soup was BUSSIN!!!! With the diced onions and cilantro, sheesh! Sorry for not providing pictures this time, I was really hungry and this place was right on target. Might go back next week to try a chicken dish. Feel free to comment to share a recommendation. The prices are outrageous. I spent $50 on one torta and 3 tacos. Ridiculous. The menu on Yelp and other areas of the internet is not updated. Their prices have quadrupled in a matter of a year! Why? Because a few people posted them on social media, calling the spot a "hidden gem". The food was salty and soggy. Don't let temporary social media hype get to your head or unfortunately you'll be out of business very soon!
