Why oh why wont you answer your phone?! I dont understand...i love their falafel pita and i dont want to pay seamless/grubhub for my pick-up orders. all i want to do is call to place my order, but you never pick up the phone. Every time you hear that phone ring and dont answer, you are losing a customer.

We ordered thru GrubHub. We ordered a gyro and asked for sauce on the side and no onions. The gyro came drenched in sauce and had plenty of onions. We asked for tzatziki sauce, but it came with a spicy white sauce. My girlfriend couldn't eat it because it was so spicy.
Food was okay. There was way to much sauce. Would have preferred as a side instead of having it drenched. Also price is a bit too expensive for the portion.

This place does not honor the buy one get one free from Uber eats. Secondly they skimmed off giving you a full pita bread. Third the meat the same as a small plate because I have picked it up myself and last their website needs updating they mislead customers in pricing.
The best Greek food I’ve ever had.The service was great. The owner was very friendly and pleasant. It was nine of us and the food came on time and it was very fresh and delicious, and service was great. Home made baklava was the best I’ve ever had.I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and will definitely go back next time we’re in Florida.

They use greek gyro strips that sat in a dish all day, barely put on any meat, fluff the dish with salad and pita and the one guy they have in the front speaks no english. Place is beat up, the guy had to wake up the manager who was asleep in the back. Big disappointment in every way.
ordered on UberEats for their Buy1 Get1 promo. When I arrived, only 1 item was prepared. I asked why and the woman at the counter said i only added 1 item to the cart. Apparently you have to add the same item twice to get the promo, even though the item itself says "buy 1 get 1 free". So then I asked can they just make the 2nd item since I essentially paid for both, and she said no. She called her boss and he said it's my fault so I have to take it up with UberEats.I tried explaining to him that even if I made the mistake, they got paid for both items, but he refused. I then had to call UE and wait on hold, and after maybe 15-20min of being on the phone, the woman made the 2nd item for me.Non-existent customer service. Also while waiting on hold, I saw a cockroach at the front of the restaurant by the window.

Just the people who work. I don't know but if he doesn't want to work better, such a bad service stays at home and I don't know if the owner is aware or he is the one who gives the orders, he doesn't even deserve a star
Gyro Joint is located in Union City, New Jersey; preparing lamb, chicken, and falafel plates and gyros. Gyro is a popular fast food in Athens and New York and Chicago.Gyro means “Turn” in the Greek language. So grilling a vertical spit of stacked meat and slicing it off as it cooks was developed firstly in Turkey, Bursa. After World War 2, with the population exchange between Turkey and Greece doner kebab was present as “Gyro” in Athens. So we can easily say that Gyro is the Greek Name for Doner Kebab. (“Doner” also means “Turning” in the Turkish language.)More than a restaurant, Gyro Joint is a “To go” gyro buffet, better for pick-ups and outside orders. There is no waiter around at all. Their lamb meat (from minced meat) tastes good. But their marinated chicken meat is better. The yellow rice, the meat, white and hot sauce is a whole meal. And they also have chicken wings as appetizers. Hummus, Tzatziki, White Sauce, and Grape Leaves are side orders. The gyro platters look like famous The Halal Guys platters, however, our editors noted that it tastes better than The Halal Guys. So if you need protein, carbohydrates, and glucose all at the same time, Gyro Joint is a cheap and good option to pick up or for outside orders.More on >> GastroTurfing.com
