Came to ihop for our son's birthday breakfast and enjoyed ourselves. Our server was so hospitable, she always had refills for our drinks before we finished them and despite being very, very busy - she was still so polite and went out of her way to sing happy birthday to my son. The food was great and their specials were very well priced. The interior of the restaurant was worn down and a little dirty, it could definitely use some revamping.

I usually visit Ihop in Brooklyn, there is something called Mexican tres leches and it comes with pancakes, but I order that same thing with waffles, when I say that the waitress tells me, that doesn't exist but it's fine, to which I reply, I always eat that when ordering, well she leaves and I had already ordered scrambled eggs that never arrived, how can a person eat without protein😒. The other thing is that the waiting time to sit down can be 20 to 25 minutes and after you sit down, you must wait for the food from 11:30 to 12:14

The place is very comfortable, and the omelet was delicious. They also give out plenty of pancake coupons, so it's nice to take some to go from time to time.

Probably the worst service in iHOP franchise history. Arrived to have a late lunch, place was pretty empty. Was seated for two, we waited over half hour before alerting staff that we have not been served. It was second notification only for the assigned server Ashley to serve a table that arrived after us. Attempted numerous times to flag or wave down to no avail. When I went to the front you just see a bunch of staff just congregating, doing nothing. If you’re in the service industry, you should probably look at your staff.
Ultimately we just got up and left and went to iHOP Totowa. For comparison purposes, they are 10x busier and upon seating us, our waiter arrived under a minute to our table. Never again are we going there.

Got my order wrong and forgot to put stuff in my bag
genuinely i dont like leaving reviews & havent but this incident was the worst experience i have ever had. Our server bessy was horrible. she greeted the table late, nerver came around unless needed, examples like, asking for our food. she didnt even come by when the food came out. for the check we had find her. she never asked if we needed anything or checked up on us. We just wanted to get out of there and once we were finally ready, she accidentally charged us the wrong bill. after explaining to us the machine did it and it wasnt her voice and she will void it , we were already annoyed and said we understand that but can we get the receipt for the void and she said it’s voided to just pay the check and she wasn’t understanding we just didnt care what excuse she had just show us proof, so i can pay the bill knowing the last one voided. instead of apologizing for her mistake she laughed at us because she was getting annoyed at what we had to say and she got another server to help us. like so, they gave us the voided recipe and we paid as needed and apologized for her saying she probably didnt understand what we were asking for. I truly enjoy eating at this restaurant and love a lot of the staff there due to us always coming for years but this had to be the worst service i’ve ever experienced. We werent being corruptive or rude. It was a simple mistake she couldve taken accountability for but she was uncoordinated & rude. Im disappointed to make this review but they stated the manager wasnt there. Hopefully she does better & gives the service needed in her industry.
