I have bern having a lot of trouble with this brand for years well over a decade when I would purchase hot or sweet sopressata from the Corrado's food market chain here in Jersey. I would like some answers from the owner as to why The Licini brand in this market distributor is extremely tough, rubbery, the casing is so thick its like eating meat with parchment paper wrapped around it twice, even if you remove it, its still extremely dry and flavorless, and for $13.99 a lb? I want some answers. Is Corrado's getting batch over runs? Not moving product enough? What gives? Unless what is made and prepackaged at Licini's store front is way different and more premium? I don't know how you can call this Sopressata? Columbus, Alps, Fiorucci, Citterio, and many other common charcuterie names makes a better Sopressata than this! If I am mistaken, and just this retailer is getting garbage wholesale batch over runs and charging a premium for it. I would like to know why?
