Mary always makes you laugh Lizeth and Ibania are always fighting but they serve people with great love, spectacular food at super reasonable prices, I love this place where locals can still get together and enjoy a delicious meal at a good price.

Kid-friendliness: Its what American call a Greasy spoon k.i.s.s. it's one of the few places u can have breakfast for 3 bucks and and meal for 5 bucks its best to go at odd times its gets packed due to the fact its very small so go at 830am 1130am 1pm and 4pm no one is there

: Rincon Español (Verdict: GOT Potatoes!) Union City, NJ Woke up early this rainy morning and got ready for a funeral we had to attend in Union City, NJ. You'll never guess who was starving on the way there and needed to have a "snackers" ? ... lol not me. ;-). We saw a little corner Spanish/Cuban Cafeteria on 45th Street about a block away from the funeral home. Perfect!! A couple beef empanadas will hit the spot. When I got to the counter I asked the lady two simple questions. 1. I know it's early, do you have empanadas? Answer: YES What type do you want? I'll make it for you. It will only take a few minutes. 2. Are there potatoes in the empanadas? I'm highly allergic to them. Answer: NO, no potatoes at all. Don't worry. I then said.... "I'll take three". Two for babes and one for me. Hey.. why not? Have no idea when lunch will be. Well guess what my friends?!?!? They "DID" have potatoes. Thankfully they were so hot I couldn't just bite into them. So I broke off one of the ends to let it cool off before devouring it. Wow!! OMG!! The first thing I noticed was a small potato cube!!! No way, these freakin' do have papas!!! Thank you Universe for me just not biting into it. Maybe I wouldn't be here to tell the story. Btw, I used to live in one of the three buildings right across the street when my parents came from Cuba. Ironically , in that building is where I first found out about my potato allergy. I was 4 years old. @vinopotato

My husband and I we visited this place for a dinner last week, a lady gave us a nasty attitude, she pulled the menu out of my husband hand and yell at him calling him stupid.. we freak out, she did that without a reason. We walked out of the restaurant. And I found it out that the lady is the Owner. Never back again

Try rabo encendido. fabada Asturiana, lacon con papas o yuca, shredded beef, etc... The employees are professional, respectful, courteous, and attentive. Try the non-alcoholic drinks and the variety of sandwiches. You'll be surprised at the prices.
