I want to show a lot of love to Chris and the crew out at Romeo’s.I Placed a big order for Super Bowl Sunday for a local homeless shelter and not only did the pizzas arrive on time but they were nice and hot. Ordered this through doordash,1. This pizzeria overcharged my card 2 times without asking permission. I complained to doordash and they gave me my money left. .. then the next day they charged my card again.2. The food was 1.5 hours late.3. The food was freezing upon arrival and it wasn't what I ordered4. Pizza was bland and no taste.Overall, a bad experience. They don't even deserve a star. These people are crooks and they overcharge you. They will steal your credit card info and charge you the next day. Not a good experience. Will be notifying my credit card company for fraud.

In my opinion this is the best pizza in Union City area, chicken parm is delicious and they have great yummy desserts. I order frequently and have never had issues, food always on point! Please don't hesitate to try you'll be happy you did!

While many people search for the best slice in town- I've been in a never ending search for a GOOD chicken parm. Well well well I finally found the spot. Consistent, the sauce doesn't taste generic, and the portions are perfect. Happy to have discovered my new go to, big thumbs up.

Considering that all of the pizza in North Hudson County is average at best, I was hoping that you'd be the place that stepped up and I could proudly endorse to friends, family and out-of-towners. So much for that. This pizza is good enough to satisfy the local who doesn't venture out of the area to some of the state's finer pizza establishments. Will it get the job done for a quick fix? Yes. Will your kid's birthday party be taken care of? Yes. Office lunch? Definitely. Would I drive more than 5 min for it? Nope. Looks like I'm still gonna have to drive to Hoboken or 15-20 min out of Hudson County for good pizza because of the sub-par standards in Hudson County.

I took a bite into it however and immediately noticed it was very sweet. It was a little too sweet for the taste of me and my family.Next I took out my barbecue wings and I was surprised that the wings were bare and the barbecue sauce was on the side. This was the first time I ever had to dip my wings in barbecue sauce.Overall, not my favorite pizza experience. The one thing that I really appreciated however, was the kindness of the owner, and for that reason I would be willing to try some of the other items off of the menu on a different visit.

I have ordered from Romeos a number of times... and every single time my family and I have ended the meal wanting more! The pizzas are perfectly made, with thin crust and crunchy bottoms, and the sauce... Mmm! But oh my gosh... tonight we had had three pasta entrees and let me tell you... WOW! We had the Ravioli with Prosciutto, Chicken Scarpariello with Hot cherry peppers, and I had Chicken Parmigiana. They each were so delicious!Do yourself a favor and order from here... the food is delicious, my favorites are the Caprese salad, and Hawaiian pizza.I’d post pictures, but I never remembered to do so because I was too excited to eat.Chris has decorated the place with Vintage items that really give it an old pizzeria feel and he’s always happy to see anyone come through the door.If you order from here tell Chris the owner that Rachel sent you and that you want to see Romeo.

If the pizzerias around where I live made their food with 1/2 the love that this place makes their pizza with it would save me the 30 min drive to drive to Union city. I discovered Romeo's pizza about a month ago but didn't want to leave a review till I knew that it was the real deal and not a one time hit. I don't write many reviews but will definitely take out the time to accredit a place the is well deserving of it. I rarely ever order a tomato slice but when the sauce is this good It's hard to say no. The little retro touches to the decor remind me of my childhood and when food can transport you to happy reminiscent moments in life it's always worth the trip down memory lane. Love this place!
