Don't know if it was the day or what I know food has gone up in supermarket but damn. Have ordered a few times before I give up on a place. But after this last time no way. Went to pick up an order of 3 Large sopa de mondogo and end up pay $65 for the order not including tip (which I'm a generous tipper cause one knows it's hard.). Was shocked and was like what is this golden soup? Definitely not worth it. Soup had literally only mondogo and tomato sauce noting else like traditional mondogo soup has usually pig feet and some veggies. Not worth it plus way to salty. The fried fish and tostones weren't good either. If you like salty food with little ingredients this place is for you. Me I don't recommend what so ever. Not even for a diet cheat day or a day I don't feel like cooking!
Alright, Ventura is a childhood CLASSIC. Their 3 golpe is obvi 10/10. The energy this place has goes hand in hand with the food. Whenever I go I try different foods as they always make great food with amazing seasonings. I miss the owner but I'm glad she's relaxing/relaxing, she's made this establishment one of the BEST in Union City. ACTUALLY the best in Hudson County and I don't use this lightly. 20/10!!

This is my first time at this establishment. I was highly pleased. First, we arrived earlier then our reservation time and they were able to seat us. We also had an excellent waiter named Jeisson. He is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable regarding the menu.

Don’t eat from here, I bought a chicken soup on 3/11/2022 and been experiencing vomiting and diarrhea. I can’t keep nothing in my stomach. The soup looked and tasted slimy. NEVER AGAIN! This place doesn’t even deserve a star. There service is terrible there’s a lady with blonde hair and glasses who speaks to you very nasty like if she hates her job. Bad choice
