Best fresh fish on earth!!!
Last week I made a delicious grouper dish thanks to his recommendation. Coming from Spain and being picky about my fish have to say Gus brings highest quality to his shop. He also tells you what’s best each day and he is always spot on. He is not only knowledgeable but kind and funny.
Love this fish market!!!

I ordered lobster meat to make eight lobster rolls for my birthday dinner party last night. Two of my friends are from New England and know their lobster rolls. They were blown away. One asked if I cooked the lobster because she had never had such well cooked lobster. The other one said it was “next level.” I highly recommend getting lobster meat here if you want to make the best lobster rolls ever. So good!

Great little fish/seafood shop in Upper Montclair.

We go once a week for salmon and tuna for poke - it's a toddler favorite in our house! We are fortunate to have such a good quality and dependable market right here in town.

First time there for Christmas Eve. Everything was fresh and excellent. Will definitely return.

Been here a couple times. My knowledge of fish is novice at best and, I believe it's the owner, explains things very well! He is also just friendly in general. The selection appears to be very high quality and has been delicious every time. Will be back next time I want some good seafood!

Great spot. Gentleman (assuming owner) behind counter was very nice and helpful. I wanted to make a crudo and Sashimi dish - directed me to good selections. The scallops were insanely good. Salmon was very fresh - I was just popping raw pieces in my mouth as I was cutting for the dish. It really wasn't that expensive IMO for the quality $19 bucks for 3 large scallops and 1/2 lb salmon. To eat raw? That's a steal to me. Obviously market prices change this so please do not use this as pricing guides.

Good fish but a little expensive . He allows one customer inside the shop at a time which is good during this Covid period .

The best oysters around! Paul hooked me up with 3 dozen oysters yesterday and they were excellent. Everyone loved them on the half shell. They were fresh, briney with a sweet finish. Just what I was looking for. Fantastic!
