Vesta is a must-try. The hot chocolate is incredibly rich and decadent—seriously the best I've had.

Very friendly staff and cool interior inside an old bank with a vault. I got a hot chocolate with a marshmallow and whipped cream. It’s pretty good, rich chocolate - perfect if you like dark chocolate rather than milk chocolate

This place has completely stolen my heart! The owners are the kindest people, and the staff is always so warm and welcoming. I stop in almost every day for my daily coffee and chocolate fix—and let me tell you, the cookies are out of this world. Everything is made in small batches with such care and quality. Plus, the space is so cozy and inviting. It’s seriously a hidden gem!

The chocolate chip cookie isn’t good (tastes floury) and the hot chocolate is bitter and watery. I shudder to think what their other products taste like if their signature items are that bad. On top of it, we found the women working behind the counter bizarre and rude.

Finally, I hit this spot after getting a recommendation for years. Even though I'm not a fan of their hot chocolate, I'm satisfied with their pastries. Especially, the brownies are phenomenal and becoming my reason to revisit. Unfortunately, I didn't have any pictures of the brownies cuz I couldn't wait to have them right away lol... They are sold in 2 different packs (4 full ones and 6 half ones)

The BEST hazelnut rocher hot chocolate ever!!! A luxury small batch chocolate and coffee shop that is not only beautiful aesthetically but so so delicious and decadent. Their craft chocolates are incredible and highly recommended by Oprah, Bon Appetite mag, People magazine, Goop, Marth Stewart, and many many more. Brittany greeted me and was so warm and welcoming and made my delicious hot chocolate! I have to come back for their unreal and super indulgent basque cheesecakes! Run, don’t walk to Vesta in Upper Montclair, NJ!!

Best baked goods I’ve ever had and the atmosphere of the shop is cozy and beautiful!! All staff is wonderful, kind, and helpful. The chocolate chip cookies and brownies are heavenly. Their hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows is unmatched, as well as their delicious coffee program.

Although yes, it’s pricey for the chocolates, you will not find better.

Love the new space! We LOVE The Classic Hot Chocolate topped with their homemade pillowy Vanilla Marshmallow that they torch in front of you! Brittney was super sweet and full of amazing energy!! We can’t wait to come back and try their other Hot Chocolates and Marshmallows 💞☀️

Over a month ago while on a day trip to Upper Montclair with friends, I spied an artisanal chocolatier. Inside were bars, confections, hot chocolate and bark. I bought three bars for each of my friends. For myself, I took a Dominican Republic bar of organic single origin 66% and a packet of orangettes. I decided to eat both in Pune. The bar was enjoyed with every bite. The chocolate was smooth, non acidic and imparted a tasty finish. The orangettes I regrigerated due to the hot weather and have been eating and savoring each morsel slowly. Both my friends enjoyed their bars. The lady helping us was informative and gave us samples. When I return home, I plan to make another visit as it's far nicer than buying it online.
