You should consider carefully before choosing this location. I had two different experiences: one was quite good, but the other was extremely disappointing. I ordered a mango tart and a decaf latte. The mango tart was a bit off, so I asked to exchange it for a brownie or something else. The staff member informed me that the tart had been made over the weekend—this was on a Wednesday—so it was understandable that the crust was a bit soggy. She mentioned that there was no manager available and she couldn’t offer an exchange or a refund. The ambience is beautiful, and it’s a great place for coffee, but I would recommend avoiding the pastries unless they’re freshly made.

I walked in for a baguette and walked out spending $60! 😅 While online, the lady in front of me kept asking questions. The young lady behind the counter gave epic descriptions of all the pastries and sweets. I bought every one of them.

Perfection!
Update on 9/29/24 - Although I still stand by my previous review, you really need to have a dedicated person to make coffee. Been here three times and the coffee is always delayed. Today more than ever. This will really speed up service.

Food was great french pastry although when we went at around 930am many items were out.
The one young lady who was serving does a great job....like a superhuman job....but there needed to be at least a other of here if not 2 more. If they get more staffing, I'd easily recommend this higher

I am so glad this bakery opened up in the area! They have the most delicious and authentic French patisserie and baked goods. This is by far the best pastry shop in NJ. The service was amazing and all the employees were very sweet and friendly, offered their recommendations and really went above and beyond to serve us well! Their coffee is amazing and always fresh, and out of all the pastries and viennoiseries I’ve tried I can’t pick a favorite- I love them all. I highly recommended giving them a try!

Tried the USR location this morning as it's located around the corner from my office. Front staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with assisting me to navigate options as a first time visitor. The restaurant was neat and clean; there was no line and I quickly received my to-go order. The ham, egg, and cheese croissant was delicious- fluffy and flaky, not at all greasy, and the perfect cheese pull. Can't wait to return to try desserts and coffee!

I really enjoy this bakery, they use high-quality ingredients, and everything is made fresh. The pastries are super delicious, with lots of different choices. One thing that could be better is if they had a price menu that hangs up where everyone can see it. This would make it easier for customers to know the prices.Overall, it's a great bakery, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves fresh and tasty pastries.
Update: I recently went there and the usual girl was not at the counter it was an older woman dressed in all black. She wasn't as welcoming as the girls I'm not sure who she is but definitely not as warm and welcoming no smile or even an hello. However what was bothersome was I ordered 5 criossants that were pretty large and she began putting them all in paper bags. I kindly asked for a box because this was going to my office and she complained to me that the boxes are only for gifts because they are expensive. I'm sorry but that's not the customers issue. It's unprofessional to complain about the prices of boxes to a customer purchasing more than enough to go in a box. Purchase cheaper boxes or have a criossant count minimum policy for boxes, I purchased 5 and they were big enough that some of them were on top of each other inside the box. The boxes are nice and all but not that nice where it looks luxurious. They are plain white boxes. So if that's an issue don't pass it onto to customer, adjust your business practice to better suit your finances and find a different box distributor. If I order 5 or more I don't want them stuffed in sleeve paper bags it's messy and unorganized.
