Whole Foods used to be so great when they first arrived in Union, NJ. The food was organic and although on the pricey side, at least it was good. Nowadays, the store is overcrowded, the samples are non-existent, the staff is rude and the prices outrageous! Not sure who shops here, but you can't do your weekly grocery shopping here unless you spend a fortune.

I asked for 1/2 pound of bologna and found that the employee sliced a rancid piece of cold cut where each slice had a green ring all around it. I spoke with the manager who never did understand that he has an employee who thinks it's okay to sell moldy bologna. The manager never apologized and never offered to return my money.

Shocked @ how bad Whole Foods BBQ/Vauxhall, Springfield Ave is - no stars! Like what didn't sell yeaterday is what we got, so better buy ribs & fixins @ market to do yourself.

Crazy extensive cheese selection and fresh pasta bar. Love the freshly baked breads (the brioche is to die for). The lines can get quite long, so try to go during down times and well before holidays.

Ordered the chopped chicken sandwich with creamy coleslaw and Kansas City bbq sauce. It was AMAZING. So full of flavor. The sandwich is also a good size. Sampled the brisket which was delicious too.
