We were so impressed! Cocktails were excellent - especially the signature purple one. Lena amazed us with her oyster recommendations. The Pasta Bolognese, fried octopus, artichoke salad, and short ribs with risotto were all superb. For me, the highlight of the evening was the whole branzino - professionally deboned (wow), perfectly cooked with crispy skin and tender, juicy meat. Chef Tony is a true master of his craft, and the warm atmosphere, welcoming staff, and fair prices...
Food was great. Colossal crab is as advertised. Prices are similar to other nice restaurants on Absecon Island. Difficult to converse over the noise. We were a party of 7 and were seated at a table for six (made our reservation 4 weeks in advance).
Very slow service on this night. Waitress doesn’t come over and apologize or give us updates. too many tables seated and not enough kitchen capacity. 2 hours and no one even came by to refill water glasses. Management called to say they would look into improving the staffing situation which was nice.
