Stay away if your child has allergies because, as the hostile server said: "I don't have time to check." when I asked if something has dairy. The owner does not take allergy requests seriously either, per response implying that it's okay to not take allergies seriously if the server is busy (which she was not). There is no point to try to fix a toxic culture as a, now once and done, patron. The coffee tastes like a filter and you will not get refills. You have to go to the bathroom for paper towels when you need napkins because you will be ignored after putting in your order. The burrito was flavorless.

Finally made it to Hannah G's in Ventnor, NJ. Wowww. It was amazing. Crowded but we were seated right away. My husband had Sausage & Vegan Breakfast Hash, mushrooms, peppers, onions, zucchini, potatoes cumin & smoked paprika & Beyond Sausage. I sampled it and it was very good. I ordered the Blueberry Chia Pancakes (made with flax-egg, soy milk) served with maple syrup. I would have preferred no soy milk, but these pancakes were so light and yummy. ?? I really felt great after eating them, not weighed down like I wanted a nap! So yay for the GF option! I can't wait to go back and try the vegan shrimp tacos!! ? I've had vegan shrimp before and I liked them. They have lots of daily specials-so options for everyone. A very nice local breakfast/lunch spot!
Vegetarian options: Hannah G's owner told me that vegan egg (Just Egg) will now be available on a daily basis. They also have vegan (Beyond) breakfast sausage.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten-free options available.

I love that they serve Gluten Free food. They have a GF menu and even GF specials. As a celiac, it is difficult to find restaurants that can accommodate. Hannah G's staff let you know what you can and can't eat due to cross contamination too. Recently had the nectarine pistachio French toast, delicious. Recommend
Dietary restrictions: Celiac menu available
Wheelchair accessibility: First floor, wide door

the service was incredibly slow for Monday morning, the waitress barely checked on us. I ordered an $18 breakfast bowl which consisted of 2 eggs, a small spoonful of sausage, a small spoonful of broccoli, and a small spoonful of moldy rotten sweet potato. I told the waitress they were inedible and I wanted home fries instead (which I was charged for) everything was incredibly underseasoned and bland. I would never come back to this restaurant and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

If you're looking for a breakfast spot that feels like home and serves the most delicious meals made with love, look no further than Hannah G’s. Nestled along the shore, this charming eatery goes above and beyond to make every meal special.
From the moment you walk in, the cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff treats you like family, always attentive and friendly. Trish, Cathy, Donna, Ra and even Kevin go above and beyond! ?But it's the food that truly sets this place apart…
Each dish is crafted with care and creativity. Take their blueberry honey butter, for example – it's a heavenly spread that elevates their freshly baked goods to a whole new level. And for those with dietary restrictions, their gluten-free banana bread with chocolate chips and cinnamon butter is an absolute treat. Every bite is a testament to the love and thoughtfulness they put into their cooking. Also amazing Vegan meals. Always check out the daily specials!
Whether you're a local or just passing through, Hannah Gs, is a must-visit. It's a rare gem where every meal feels like a special occasion. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back tomorrow!

Went for breakfast yesterday and we misread something on the menu. We thought the pancakes with fruit were plain pancakes with fruit on top, we didn't realize it would be pancakes with fruit inside. In our defense there were also blueberry pancakes on the menu yesterday so again "pancakes with fruit"read to us as plain pancakes with fruit whereas the blueberry pancakes are pancakes with blueberries in them. ANYWAY.. pancakes come out and there are blueberries inside. We thought they gave us the wrong pancakes by mistake. Call over the waitress, explain the mishap, she steps away for a moment, seems unsure what to do. Ultimately comes back and asks what we would like to do. I asked to swap out the pancakes, said "sorry" about that but she seemed ok and happy to help. We think everything is fine.
Not even 2 minutes later, a woman comes storming our way and says "What's the problem over here!?" I again explain what happened and she said "Well we don't do that here" and waves me off with her hand in my face. Her body language and attitude were way out of line. She seemed personally offended by the mishap.
The woman stormed off as quickly as she first came up to us. I got up and immediately asked out waitress what her name was. Come to find out it's the owner which makes the entire situation worse. Never in my life have I seen a manager/business owner act like that towards customers. I told this to the waitress who did her best to resolve the situation. I told her to cx my order, keep my nieces, but that we would never come back.
On the way out (you have to pay at the register) she's standing there with her husband and I reiterate that how she did a poor job of handling the situation and her behavior was inappropriate. She proceeds to put her hand on my shoulder, as if its ever ok to touch a stranger? And attempts to explain herself.. nope not ok. I say we've been coming here for years and we will never be back. To which she says "oh really! You've been coming here for years?? I have NEVER seen you." We were literally there the previous weekend but go ahead and call me a liar...
At this point we're all looking at each other just shell shocked at her behavior. She basically finished off by saying "WHATEVER" and again waved us off.
Extremely unprofessional. She seems burnt out and is taking it out on her customers. I read through the reviews and there are a lot of the same comments about her. And her responses back are proof she doesn't know how to take criticism. Whether she believes it or not my family and I did frequent Hannah g's during summer and we will NEVER give them a dime again. Happy to support other local eateries. Water dog is across the street and they are always pleasant. You're better off going somewhere else.
** Edited to add ** My husband and I were just at your restaurant the weekend prior and ordered the pineapple macadamia nut overnight french toast & shorely Michael... but I must have made that up. Being a regular customer doesn't mean I come every week. My family and frequent your restaurant during summer but not anymore. What I typed in my review is exactly what happened word for word. And yes we are happy to give the other great restaurants in Ventnor our money :)
Good luck to all the customers who have even the slightest issue with their order!

My granddaughter and Daugher ordered off the menu 2 fluffy pancakes with fruit, the dishes came with blueberry pancakes instead of plain pancakes. We told the waitress and asked for plain pancakes, a few minutes later the owner came over and boy did she have an attitude, even waving my daughter off in a very disrespectful manner. The cost of a few pancake is not expensive, so I don’t understand the fuss. The menu description does not say blueberry pancakes, saying that’s the way we make them doesn’t change the fact that it’s not described on the menu that way. My god we are talking about Pancakes, Pancakes., not a steak, pancakes.

The best breakfast on the island. Small, quaint, charming space with an incredible specials board that’s always rotating. Owners Donna & Kevin know everyone and make you feel like you’re at home. A place you miss when you’re out of town.
