I want to share my experience in the restaurant. We went at 8pm when the restaurant closed at 9pm, they hardly served us, the hostess told us that we should ask if the kitchen was still open. In the end they let us in, when you enter the restaurant you see a sign written in blue marker that says that Gratuity is charged for parties of 5 or more, in that case it did not apply to us, however when we asked for the bill, they charged us the Gratuity of $31 USD when it didn't really apply to us, we went to talk to the Host and the waitress and when we got to the entrance they had deleted/changed the tip sign from 5 to 4 people so it “applied to our case”, they had It changed at the last minute when we ordered the food and we were the only people in the restaurant and they changed it on purpose for us and the sign was now written with pink marker at the last minute, we made the complaint however they did not want to help us, they said that It was from 4 when you could see the lie on your face, in the end we paid them but we know that they charged us more for the tip. It was a very dishonorable and unpleasant act on the part of the waitress, so be very careful when you enter the place and They charge them Gratuity, don't let what happened to us happen to them, it is a deceptive place, even though the food was good, the service is terrible at the risk of them changing the rules at the last minute.

Happy we found this great restaurant while visiting Ventnor. We were immediately greeted by Gloria with a warm welcome. She was so kind in trying to accommodate us and our 3 young children. The food was delicious and fresh! Thank you again!

First time eating here. Other family members have eaten here before once. Didn’t have half the drinks on the menu, food looked like you could make it at home. Didn’t have music. Food came pretty quick but we expected more. Would not come here again. Not many workers. Got pancakes, bagel, eggs. Pancakes were okay. Pretty good, light. Bagel was not toasted all the way. Eggs were good but cheese was in the middle and not the style I asked for. Most of the food was everything “on the side” and you had to put it together yourself. They only take cash. Not card. Very inconvenient. Waiter was very nice. But food can be worked on.

This is a lovely little place in a small cut out of Ventnor City right on the boardwalk . Although it does not have boardwalk access. The restaurant is still uncertain of itself and what the direction is that it wants to take. The GM and what seems to be the only cook there, were quite unfriendly to staff in front of customers and the food took very long to come out, and when it did it was staggered for every order. The back of the house clearly needs some reorganizing, and the GM had zero interest in addressing customer concerns. The place seems to have 3 different names which is confusing. The server was the best part of this experience she was a kind and hard working young lady, whose apologies and anxiety were not her own fault-yet the manager nor head chef never bothered to come out to speak to customers. The pancakes were thick, dense, and inconsistent from one order to another at our table. This place needs a new overhaul in ownership and management all the way to the cooks.

Today was my first time trying la serena, and it did not disappoint. At first glance, the prices seemed a little high, but the quality, portion size and presentation surpassed this concern. My tuna wrap was very fresh & enough for two people to share. It was served with a large serving of potato chips & two pickles. My daughter had a very large cheeseburger that was made from very good quality beef & prepared as orderd. It was accompanied by a large portion of French fries. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was excellent. Definitely a good find off the Ventnor boardwalk.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp leading up to the restaurant.

This is the yummmmiest food ive ever had. The blueberry pancakes were to die for, bagels were fresh and delicious, fluffy eggs and crispy homefries. Highly recommend if you're looking for something with locally sourced food and friendly staff.

Extraordinary visit.Servers, Hostess, and owner greeted us and treated us like family. Feels like your mother's cooking your own meal. The blueberries were fresh from Hammonton. I don't know where they got the bagels but I will always be stopping here on my way before the beach !!!!! ????????
