Love love love- started going to mega in CH on 70 about 15-17 years ago and Steve was great. Moved away to Cali and now Florida n make sure to get it every time im in NJ. Just had delivery in Ventor and it was better than I get at sit down places here in FL! Pls open in Sarasota FL asap :)

I have been coming to Megu for sushi for about a year now and have never had any complaints! The inside is very clean and neat. Our servers are always kind and attentive. They also give you good portions and the sushi always is fresh and presented nicely. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

This was my second time here. The first time was at the SIC location. Everything was good but the service was a bit rushed. It felt like our waitress was just very quick and hovering. I understand they were closing but we were going at a timely rate. Other than that the food was good and it was a nice atmosphere.

Hands down the BEST shrimp fried rice!!! Trust me you won't be disappointed. Excellent fast service! Friendly staff and the owners are very nice friendly people. Very beautiful restaurant. I've never eaten the sushi there so I can't comment on that. Place was very busy tonight
Great take out spot. Quality food and our order is always right, even for a huge family of 9. A little slow to pack the orders when busy though so be prepared to wait a few extra minutes.

I recently visited Megusushi, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offered good service throughout my stay, making me feel welcome and attended to.The ambiance at Megusushi was enhanced by the pleasant Taylor Swift music playing in the background, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. As a fan, I appreciated the choice of music.One highlight of my dining experience was the raw salmon, which was exceptionally good. The sushi in general was fresh and well-prepared, showing that the restaurant values the quality of their ingredients.However, I was a bit disappointed to find that there was no dessert menu available. It would have been nice to end the meal on a sweet note with some dessert options.I did encounter a slightly confusing dish—the shrimp asparagus roll. While the flavors were enjoyable, the combination was a bit puzzling and didn't quite work for me. Perhaps some adjustments could be made to improve this particular dish.Another observation was that the Habatchi shrimp seemed to have more vegetables than shrimp. While I appreciate a well-balanced meal, it would be nice to have a more generous portion of shrimp to match the menu description.On the positive side, the rice served with the sushi was fresh and perfectly complemented the various flavors of the dishes.In conclusion, Megusushi has a lot going for it, with its good service, enjoyable music, and fresh, tasty sushi. While a dessert menu and some fine-tuning of certain dishes could enhance the experience, I had a satisfying dining experience overall. If you're a sushi enthusiast and appreciate a cozy ambiance, Megusushi is definitely worth a visit.

We love the food at Megu. Been "dining" there for 15 yrs and they have not renovated in all that time. Really a shame. Great menu. Consistently delicious. Love gyoza snd rolls. Sashimi very good too. Great staff and service.BUT, they really really need a decor makeover and sprucing up. To start with,the tables are always sticky and no placemats or cloths. Gross. Everything from walls to booths etc is shabby and neglected looking. Very unpleasant to dine inside. That's prob why it is always empty. They really need to up their game if they want to keep or gain business.
