The best cafe in Ventnor. It was the most delicious pancake and crepe I’ve ever had.Also all the staff are very kind and attentive.

Velo Cafe was a standout, small cafe experience. When we arrived around noon, the place was popping with customers, yet the wait was only five minutes and the service was exceptional. They got us seated relatively quickly and offered a water bowl for our dog with ice, being a hot summer day. We had one waitress, but several additional staff members were flowing around the outdoors, all making conversation and helping with the orders. It was an impressive flow!
The only reason I am reluctantly giving four instead of five stars was the food. While the sides (potatoes, fresh fruit, sausages) and presentation were great, the entrees themselves were a bit lackluster. The cheesesteak omelet was very bland, being heavy on the provolone cheese and very low on the meat and peppers. My partner's order was also reportedly good, but not anything great. It's possible that we came on a bad day, with the waitress mentioning that one of the chefs had to go home early, but until we revisit, which I'd like to, we'll have to wait and see.
Still, definitely a worthwhile stop on any passing journey or summer beach vacation!

So we stopped by this place for brunch! I ordered a lavender latte with oat milk which was absolutely amazing. And I also got the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and my husband ordered the chicken and waffles. Food was great. I highly recommend you stopping here. We sat outside, our server was nice and it was a very wholesome experience.

Love this local gem, for its creative entrees and courteous service. Prices are fair. BYOB. Only 11 tables inside, so reservations are a must. Sidewalk tables available if weather permits. Always good, and Ventnor is lucky to have them.
10/10 will continue to come back! I had the Velo chicken sandwich w/t waffle fries and it was amazing! My boyfriend had the chicken & waffles and cleaned the plate. Would 100% recommend. The place and staff were very welcoming.

The prices are high and the taste is bad. We will not go back. And when my friend left with her platter hardly touched and my platter not touched she didn't ask was anything wrong . We didn't want to make a fuss with other people eating there but they need to know . The chef needs to know.

Don’t sleep on Velo Cafe, we have had incredible breakfast lunch and dinner here. We usually go for an early lunch / late breakfast though.

Warm hand towels, subtle lighting, constant replacement of cold water bottle, great service, wonderful food! Lamb chops were SO good! Like spicy? The seafood linguini! The Salmon was almost as good as the sauted spinach it was served on. Homemade deserts! We'll be back!
