A local friend highly recommended the Water Dog Smoke House. I was definitely going to try their pastrami as I can’t get good strami back home. Only day it was open Labor Day week that I could get sandwich was Thursday. I had a tee time same day so ordered “The Swami” at 10am. They offer slaw and dressing on sandwich but for me I just like a pile of strami on rye bread so that’s what I got with mustard. “The Swami” was awesome!!! Stopped in on a bagel run but was greeted by the full effect - so much smoked salmon and pastrami-encrusted smoked salmon. This became a homemade lox which made the morning, and can't wait to get back to Water Dog for the sandwiches from their deli counter!
