Mitch has the best hot dogs and spicy onion topping all around! My husband and I grabbed a dog today and had a nice chat with Mitch. Great guy and sense of humor. Will be back for more!

The giant veteran owned & operated business and proud to be an American signs are only there to distract you from the fact that the person who runs this shack has zero food safety knowledge and even less customer service training. I would never spend a single dollar here, or let anyone I love consume anything made by this man after my experience here. Such a shame to not have a better business for people to support at the trailhead of this hike.

We were just taking our dog from the parking lot to the trail the owner of this stand just came out of nowhere to ask us not to have the dog go nearby a wire post near his hot dog stand. We weren’t even close to his stand he just came out of nowehere. It is a very unusual situation, I believe he’s a good man but attitude wasn’t so good that day.

Great service and great hot dogs. Always makes sure you have have enough water for your trek. Love this hot dog stand. Mitch and his dogs are awesome.
What can I say? Cheap hot dogs! Its nothing 5 star, because its hot dogs... but the dogs hit the spot. I eat here more than any other local hot dog stand. Plus Mitch is great guy to chat with and he gave my real dog a free water when I was running low.The food gets 3 or 4 stars because its hot dogs. But Mitch gets 5 stars because he's one of the nicest dudes around.

Cool little place, got a chili cheese dog the quality reminded me of going to 7/11 and got it from there but at least I could load up on the chili slop.Also side note my friend was going for the combo and the sign said 10 dollars the guy said it was 13 and up charged him on the spot *shrug
