Wow! Great food good music and Annette was awesome!!! She was smiling the entire time gave us some awesome suggestions and hooked it up! Definitely be back to try more of the menu…. But thumbs up on the cheese steaks, burgers, chicken fingers and ice cream!

Decent cheesesteaks. There are not many spots that do it right on north Jersey, but this place definitely fills a void. I liked the style of the restaurant as well. I wish I would have gotten the milk shake because it looked good, but I wasn't feeling sweets that day. Regarding the cheese steak it's self, the greesiness was right on point and the cheese wiz was good! My gripes: the bread needed to be slightly more absorbent and the fries were not really particularly tasty (for $4 I expected more I guess). Overall, I give this place a 2.6 out of 5.

All I can say is 5 stars!!! My 9 yr old son googled this place and we took the 35 minute drive that was well worth the trip. The cheesesteak was amazing!!! Quality, fresh ingredients !!! The root beer float took me back to my childhood! Also great customer service from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. We are definitely going to be frequent customers.

First time here. The phily cheesesteak was the best I ever had. The owner/cook Louie is great. He took the time to explain the quality of the meat and how it's prepared. He's also very funny and is always singing to the Sinatra music playing. Great food, great service and very Clean. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give him.

OK service was wonderful, please have a good vibe. I ended up spending $20 on a cheesesteak when I told myself I wasn’t going to spend $20 on pasta earlier, which brought me here. I took like four bites thought I would have to drive home and add more cheese. and drove on my way home. I don’t know what was in it but I threw up on the way home also. In the bag with the cheese steak.

I can't ?. I usually get cheesesteaks in Philly (as a must do when in town), but this place had me coming back 3days in a row....I had to slow it down my pockets were crying.....I was driving 40 minutes from home ordering multiple sandwiches ?, paying tolls. Haven't reviewed because this place was going to be my little secret,but the cravings are kicking in.BTW staff was pleasant nice, friendly and sweet.

Friendly service, great food, and good music playing! The staff was helpful with suggestions for meals and even gave us a sample of the milkshake of the day. I love how they are singing along to the music, whistling, and looking like they are really enjoying being at work! 2nd time here and will definitely come back for more!

This place is a real gem! My husband ate here with some friends after a playground outing with our 4-year-olds a few weeks ago —and he hasn’t stopped raving about it since. So, I expected to be disappointed when I finally got there myself. We went yesterday and it somehow exceeded my high expectations. The food is delicious— even the vegetarian options, but they are known for their top notch burgers, cheesesteaks and wings. The shakes put it over the top! But honestly, their hospitality is truly incomparable. Annette is the BEST! She really helped to make our large party of 3 families with little kids feel comfortable and at home. That is rare! Eat at Buddy’s and visit often. It’s everything wonderful about NJ!

Anette, I think her name was, was so nice to my kids. she brought them extra fries early saying she knows kids have trouble waiting for their food. She was right and very accommodating. My keto friends ate the wings, I had a cheese steak and my wife had a giant burger, my vegetarian friends had veggie burgers. We were a large group and they were able to host us and feed us well.

Very nice place, clean, nice people and good food. It was our fist time there. Enjoyed chees steak, roast beef dip sandwich (may be a different name), fries onion rings and two chocolate shakes!!! We will be going back to try the hot dogs! Great place to go eat!

As someone who does not usually eat board walk style food, I was very impressed with the high quality of the ingredients put into my cheesesteak.I highly recommend Buddies Cheesesteaks & Shakes when you are craving a deliciously tasty meal.The blend of ingredients are extremely satisfying and not overwhelming. Sandwiches are not saturated with grease or too much salt.Meals are fairly priced for the large amount of food I received. I appreciated how the menu provided various options for everyone in my family to customize and enjoy!If you have not tried Buddies, I would highly recommend stopping by. You won't be disappointed!

This was our third time ordering from here, the first two times everything was good, last night my wife and I got a regular Philly ( provolone, we don’t like wiz), supposed to come with peppers and onions, I also asked for a few hot Cherry peppers on the side for my wife. We also got fries and onion rings. One very big disappointment, no peppers on the sandwich, and very little meat, my wife even got a nerve and wouldn’t eat anymore of her half, considering this sandwich is 15.00, I spent a total of 40.00 including tip.You’ve lost a customer,period.
