This is not how I wanted to write a post about boat. I met my wife 40 years ago and their parents had a house down here and since then I’ve been coming down and buying bait until we got a house of our own and now we’ve been buying bait and our kids, don’t know no other Place to buy bait or stop in the middle of the day to get 100 steamers and a couple dozen crabs never thought that someday they be closing I thought maybe one of the kids take it over but I guess they had other interest it’s gonna be hard to see them go I wish them the best of retirement from the Young’s
Got some steamed shrimp. They were delicious but cold. Had to warm them myself.

They use JO Spice from Maryland, better than Old Bay, less salt & NO msg. Much better taste! Yum!!!
Excellent local shop. Got a pole, hooks and ideas on bait for fishing locally. Gentleman who assisted us was friendly and helpful. Staff were very friendly and joked around with us. Highly recommend. Will always come back for my local fishing needs.
Nice crabs nice service
We bought two dozen number one crabs cleaned. The price was $60 which was good and the crabs were expertly cleaned! The crabs were big and meaty! Thank you!

This is a real gem in Cape May county for blue crabs. Reasonably price and top quality (also the small extra fee for cleaning well worth it). Coming back again.

Budds is a great family business. Their crabs can be purchased cooked and cleaned to order which is our favorite option. You can also grab a fun t-shirt;)
