Got take out, nachos were soggy and cold hardly any meat on them pizza was terrible and cold, won’t be eating from there again

Sad about Jakes.Really went downhill.This was our spot for many years. Many happy memories. Will need to find a new spot.

This was our first time returning to Jake’s since the new owners/mgmt took over. Food was good and the service was fine.

However, after we left we noticed they over charged the tip (30% was charged instead of the 20% tip I wrote on the signed bill). I called the restaurant immediately and they apologized and promised to correct the charge and to call me back the next day. No call back. I waited until after 5pm and called them back. They apologized again and said they lost my information and I was guaranteed a call back by noon the next day. You can guess where this is going. Five days later and no call back or correction to the charge.

Mistakes happen and I am happy to give a business the opportunity to correct their mistakes. However, I can’t take mistakes and incompetence. It is unlikely that we will go back based on this experience. I recommend you pay cash for your bill and tip.

Jake’s was outstanding! I went with 5 people on a Saturday night and was seated very quickly! Everyone in our group had exactly what they wanted- from crab cakes to pizza everyone was satisfied! I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection! The sauce paired perfectly with it! I will definitely be returning and recommending for friends and family.

Most of the food is average bar food. Good but not great. The add-on of pizza raised from three stars to four stars and it’s definitely the best pizza by far in the whole villas area.

Wanted to love it as a local but they just can’t get it right. First time ok second not so much third time never got our food waited to long so left. There was no one outside . Only people at the bar. Invest in a good chef. Where were the food servers?? Try again Jake’s

You can see the attached photo for one of the most expensive “platters” on the menu.
For $35 you get one crab cake, three shrimp, three scallops and a very small filet of flounder… all lukewarm and missing the French fries that should have been included. When you have hungry children and run home some takeout only to discover several missing pieces and the kids meals looking far more plentiful than the adults… you know you won’t ever return.

Wanted to try the breakfast. We were the only people when we got there. The renovations are very nice, but there is an inch of dust you can see on the pizza oven. The coffee was Luke warm. I got the avocado toast which had an avocado spread on it, not homemade with fresh avocado. The toast, avocado and eggs on top were cold. The other dishes served at the table were also just warm at best. There was no crowd so it wondered why the food was not served hot. I want to say something nice so I will say that the server was pleasant. Tried it but won’t be back.
