It don’t make sense how the workers talking and eating in the back but it takes a hour for me to get my food? Got me mad that my drink was cold by the time the food came and all the big nose manager said was sorry for wait. Like they didn’t lose my order and mess my whole morning up. Never again. Not worth it. I spent a shift in that bih.

Well the bagels at bagel University are great. They are very overpriced and you would definitely skip this place. If you're on my list. Try to find a HomeTown bagel and go from there

Ordered a decaf coffee and was given regular- I have cronic heart failure- definitely a problem- I realized this about 1/2 hour later when my heart started racing please be more careful in the future. .....

I was in Bagel U 1/8/25. Bagels were undercooked. I called and I talked with several people about it being the second time I received a bagel that was under cooked. They offered me two replacement bagels and I was satisfied with outcome. I chose to get the replacements 1/9/25 I called ahead so I could get in an out in a timely manner and mentioned yesterdays service was extremely slow.

When I returned on the 9th to get my replacement bagels, the counter server approached me and when I got there it was obvious she told the worker from yesterday that I said she moved very slow while waiting on me. She said, " here are your bagels" and said you said I was slow serving yesterday. I said, "yes, you were and she replied to me, "Well you were slow ordering." in a disrespectful tone. This is very unprofessional.

Then the counter girl said to me “if you always have a problem don’t come here.” I said .."always have a problem???

I’ve been coming to Bagel U since 2002,
this is the first time I’ve called and complained.

A woman manager came out to talk to me and agreed with her that I ALWAYS complain. I do have special orders sometimes, like crispy bacon or please make sure it’s Swiss (and I will check before I leave)
If that’s a ‘problem’ that’s a shame. The woman in charge took my name and number and said the owner would call me. No one called me.

It’s unacceptable to be treated so poorly!
To tell a customer to not come back is absurd.

Update after response from owner: the owner responded very condescendingly. Claiming that I am hard to please. Wrong. It's very easy to please me. Just give me what I ordered in a timely fashion and I'll give you a good review. He never addressed the problems he has at his store. Never addressed the wrong order or the flies in his store. He seems to think he is entitled to my hard earned money just because he is a local business, regardless of the legitimate problems that I encountered here. So now I took another star away due to his lack of response to his customers legitimate concerns. I definitely will never go back and I will now spread the word about this bad business. What a douchebag. Can't wait to see the out of business signs at his place Original review: With noone else in line, I waited around 10 minutes to get a plain untoasted bagel with plain cream cheese that wound up becoming a toasted bagel and was charged $5, received no bag, oh and the 10 minute wait was accompanied by flies buzzing all around...in December. I have to recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Their online ordering needs to be fixed. I placed an order at 11:08 for a pick up time of 11:32. When I arrived at 11:30, they told me it was still being worked on. A few minutes later, a man (assuming the manager) told me they didn’t have the plain bagel I ordered, so I needed to substitute it with a different type. Fine. Next, a few minutes later, he tells me he needs to charge me for the 2 additional slices of pork roll I added since online I was online charged for two. This came to an additional $6.38. A bagel with only 3 slices of pork roll came to $12. I didn’t end up leaving with my food until 11:45. Meanwhile, people who ordered there were leaving before me. You shouldn’t have an online order option if you can’t carry out the orders and if it doesn’t charge the customer the appropriate cost.
