Went for some breakfast got an omelet with asparagus and had to pull out all the asparagus it was clearly just the ends of asparagus in there that you are supposed to cut off before cooking asparagus. It was hard to even try to chew and the omelet was just not good even after pulling all that out.

We waited patiently 5 minutes to be seated with a 4 year old. After being seated, we were told we shouldn’t have been seated, and it would be 15 minutes til we had our drink order taken. Needless to say we didn’t stay - never was treated so poorly coming into a restaurant and my suggestion is to keep driving if it looks busy! Staff needs customer service training.

This is such a nice breakfast spot - I love starting my day here. They have a bunch of tasty and creative omelettes and I've always had great service. Thank you, Chestnut!

Great breakfast. I highly recommend the Hungry Joe’s. It warrants its name; go hungry. A lot of food for a reasonable price. The doors were a little difficult for handicapped access, but it was manageable.

This was my 1st time eating at a Diner in New Jersey. We went on Google and saw the Diner was near our location while driving and decided to give it a Try ! We were seated at a Dirty table. I asked the waitress to clean it and she did. We waited for about 10 minutes then she came back and we ordered drink and then she said someone else would take our order. We waited for about 30 and no one came to take our order. We decided to pay for the drinks and leave. The woman at the Hostess/Register Desk said that we didn't have to pay for the drinks. She even offered to take our order (if I'm not mistaken) we politely declined. I stated I wasn't angry and she replied saying they had a few new hires. Which I understand to an extent. I was really looking forward to eating there because the prices were very good and the menu seemed decent. I'm kind of sad it had to be like that.

First off the new girl at the front counter is very rude and unprofessional. Second, I’ve been to this restaurant twice to order takeout. I don’t eat meat. I made this clear to staff that I have not ate meat in years. The first time I ordered my food I found a piece of pork bacon in my home fries. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back again and today in my home fries was a piece of ham. It’s pretty evident this diner doesn’t believe in cross contamination in the kitchen. It could be a coincidence …. but twice in a row? I think not. I can say the French toast are very good though …
