The food here was exactly what we were looking for. Fresh, well seasoned, and the meat was very tender. We were the only ones there, which was surprising since the food was excellent. If you haven't been, you should check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Incredible food.I went there after my coworker bought delicious looking tacos and I had to try them. The people working there (owners?) were incredibly nice and my food was so good. Their hot sauces alone are reason to go there! Everything was made in-store, and you can taste it.Everyone should go here and support this business!

Found online because of great reviews. Small establishment, opened 7 months, ago. First time visitors. We visited at lunch on a Sunday and we were the only guests so can’t attest to full atmosphere feel.Berto is the proprietor and he greeted us, answered our questions, waited our table, and made us a great meal. He told us he makes everything homemade including the tacos and soaks his beans every night—no canned beans here. He made us feel like we had come to his home for dinner and offered to make us anything we’d like as long as he’d had the ingredients. He served us chips and bean dip. He checked our heat level before bringing out any salsa—we agreed on medium. We both liked each item but my friend loved the beans and I loved the salsa. We went specifically to try the tacos—served 3 to a plate. We tried chicken tacos and steak tacos birria. Neither of us had had tacos birria and Berto explained to us what was birria style tacos. We loved both kinds of tacos. They were filling as we took half home for dinner. We also tried the flan, which was topped with fresh cut strawberries—delicious! We each tried a bite and took it home for dinner, as well.We enjoyed it so much, I called my very good Mexican friend (who is always feeding me good home cooked meals) to tell her about this little place. She said she had just read good reviews on the military base’s website and now she absolutely wanted to make the hour drive down to try it! Plus, she’d enjoy someone else cooking her “home style” food for a change. LOL!I live a couple of hours away, now, but will be back to try more tacos on my next trip. My friend can’t wait to bring in her husband for dinner and she’s dying to try the beans and rice.I recommend visiting Berto and giving El Rincon Del Sabor a try and supporting his small local business.

Food is always delicious. Service is great, the waitress is kind and patient. The space is small but it's worth it.
