Something must've happened to this place because the food is just not the same as it used to be. The last time I had ordered here was almost two years ago. It was quite good. This past weekend I was in the mood for Indian food so I ordered from here. What a mistake. Phone in order and they tell me 'about an hour'. Ok. no big deal. So I go pick it up an hour and few minutes later and they said not ready and another 25mins. I wished I just walked out but I waited.Got home and was pretty disappointed. Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Saag weren't as flavorful as I am used to and have had here before. And it has been a while but the vindaloo seemed extremely watered down. The garlic naan was good though.I hope this was just an off day for them and may try once again.

Possibly the worst Indian restaurant (in terms of taste) I ever encountered. Ordered 2 appetizers (Samosa and Alu Chat), Gobi Manchurian, Veg. Hakka Noodles, and Veg. Fried Rice. The samosa was ok. The chat had no balance. The 3 Indo-Chinese dishes had no trace of the Indo-Chinese flavor we are so used to, and were barely edible. The only reason I left 2 stars is because the gentleman who took the phone order was very curteous and made recommedations on what to order. I just wished the food quality matched his enthusiasm.

Why go here when you can eat at Royal Spice? Literally the same prices but Royal Spice takes It a step further by giving you more food plus better quality. I do not recommend It here, doesn’t taste authentic and is a waste of money.

If you want even remotely good Indian food, STAY AWAY! I did $65 worth of food it was absolutely trash, and I don't say that lightly. Their paneer entree had rock hard paneer, because they were most definitely FROZEN. The samosas were frozen too, because they burst open when they fried them; that only happens when frozen samosas are fried. The rice that they give with entree was just plain cooked rice. It wasn't jeera rice, which is shocking because every other Indian place that I've ever gone to cooked jeera rice. I got laccha paratha and you could tell it was definitely frozen; they had that classic oiliness that you find when you heat up frozen paratha! For the quality of the food the price is astronomical. All my entries were 15 bucks but they didn't even taste like they were five bucks. I'm truly disappointed; this was my first time here and it will definitely be my last time here.I highly suggest to everyone that they look for an alternative Indian place to get some food even if it's a little bit more of a drive. Trust me you don't want to ruin your dinner.

It was better before they completely changed the management. The food doesn’t taste authentic anymore. The naan wasn’t fluffy and it tasted eggy. Unfortunately, the food served for the buffet doesn’t taste like it once did. Even the prices for the buffet went up. The total price came out to $45 for just me and my boyfriend. There are other Indian restaurants I’ve been to with higher quality food and reasonable buffet prices. Sadly, I will no longer be eating here again.

If they don't have something on the menu let the customer know don't just replace the item with something else. And please get a better chef who knows what he is doing

Sad writing this because I really loved this restaurant after reading the comments it all makes complete sense now they went under new management, prices went up about 3-5$ more than there original price chicken Marsala tasted like tomato sauce and chicken with bones the curry was over cooked sad to say I won’t be going back

I think the people who gave this place 1 star or wrote a whole negative dissertation on their meal are out of their minds….I’ve been here twice in the last month, I love it! The new owners are so friendly, attentive & accommodating, we asked them many questions including what their favorite dishes are, they helped us select different dishes both vegetarian & non, both excellent! The onion naan was great, the chicken vindaloo was a spicy delightful treat! I plan on going back again & again…in fact, I’m going again Friday.

While I want Vineland to have more diverse ethnic cuisine, I can't recommend going here, at least not yet. From talking with the waiter, I got the impression that the restaurant is under new management (an Indian restaurant has been open at this location since at least 2019). Regardless, they don't have their footing yet.First, the good things. They have a very large menu with a wide selection of chicken, lamb, goat, and shrimp dishes, and many vegetarian options. Their appetizers are very good and are filling enough that you could have a pleasant meal here entirely from appetizers. And since they do not have a beer or liquor license, you should consider BYOB.Now for the rest. The pacing of their service, when drinks, appetizers, and entrees arrive at the table, could use some work. Our party of four, which included two kids, ordered two appetizers and four entrees, and two orders of garlic naan. The appetizers came out promptly and, as I said above, were quite good. Moments later, my daughter's entree arrived. 10 to 15 minutes later my son's entree arrived. He ordered a half order of tandori chicken and had a plate heaping with chicken (the kitchen screwed up and gave him a full order). A few minutes later my entree arrived. That's when the other problems hit.First, the chicken in my daughter's entree was as hard as a rock overcooked. So was my chicken.Second, I ordered my entree spicy. On a scale of one to five with five being burning hot spicy and one being where is the flavor, I would have rated mine as a .5. On the other hand, my son's entree and my daughter's entree were so spicy they couldn't take more than a single bite (and yes, we've ordered both items at other Indian restaurants for them and did not have this problem elsewhere).Meanwhile, the fourth member of our party was still waiting on her entree. In the end we gave up. Put the three bad entrees on a table next to us and flagged the waiter back to ask for a bill. He was apologetic but nothing was taken off of our bill, including being charged for the full tandoori chicken plate that we didn't order, as well as the entree that never arrived. Oh, and now that I think of it, we also got charged for naan that never arrived. So if this restaurant survives much longer, and figures out a better process for preparing and serving their meals, you should give them a try. Just wait a few months before doing so. Or, if you can't wait, go here for the appetizers.

The food is wayyyy too spicy, appetizers are the only good food. Would not eat here again, gastation food is better tbh. Service is too long, meals did not arive untill we left to go get good food at Wawa, only good for appetizers. Servers did not let us order and instead recomended food not letting us speak aka pushy about food we did not want. --->Not recommend<---

I had the Lamb korma. And I know Indian food being born and raised In Nyc where the food is great. But this little spot in Vineland on Landis Ave is a diamond in the rough. The food is incredible. If you looking for a fine Indian food place Indian villa is the place you to order from in Vineland. You won’t be sorry!

Excellent food and great customer service. Coming from NYC where you find a lot of authentic Indian restaurants, this was awesome. We will definitely be ordering from here again. The prices were also good too.
