Food went even more downhill not like it was ever great before . The card machine is hardly ever available lol. Jerk chicken is stronger than my fist. The bottles in the fridge are kept at the most energy saving level possible so they are basically Luke warm lolol the rice is always hard , rice or Pease or white rice , just hard. The oxtails were ok before but has went downhill since the beginning of this year and you barely get a fair serving of that for the cost. My god you can literally count the oxtails you get, 4, I'm not joking lolol, curry goat or curry chicken, all is a shredded mess of gravy and unseasoned . Lolol , stew chicken ? Don't even bother . Dude needs some one to voluntarily help , he doesn't take any constructive criticism either lolol

Don’t be fooled by the presentation and glistening sauce. It might as well just be high fructose corn syrup all over the under seasoned chicken. We came through here as a fall back plan, walking in im used to the informal nature of Caribbean restaurants. The first impressions gave a hole in the wall type spot, we ended up getting the jerk chicken after hearing his recommendations. If the sound of the microwave wasn’t enough of a red flag then I don’t know what was. Growing up Trini I may not be used to Jamaican style chicken, but I know real Jamaicans would throw this back in his face to get their money back. The rice tasted like uncle Ben was in the kitchen, and the chicken was smothered in “jerk sauce.” My stomach is still aching, maybe because the bone was hotter than the chicken from the microwave. I would’ve rather paid a $35 parking ticket than the $16 for this meal. At least I wouldn’t have to worry about catching some food-borne illness

My husband and I visit Michelle's Kitchen when they first opened and the service was poor. At that time the food was good but we dislike the customer service. We tried again on another occasion and still the same poor customer service. Due to the poor customer service we decided not to support this establishment. Last year November 2022 my husband wanted to surprise me with some j*** chicken and it was not the best. The j*** chicken did not have any smoke flavor to it. In my opinion it taste more like bake chicken with BBQ sauce pour unto it. I told my husband no more ordering from there. I can't support a business that continues to be rude/unprofessional. The owners should do some research on customer service or take a course to better their customer service. I/we will not go back there.

I was in town wanting some good old Taste of the Island on Landis, come to find out they have closed or relocated. So my brother suggested Michells kitchen, he told me the food was good l. I want some j*** pork , but their options were limited. The guy was very inpatient & rude. We bought four platters and they were not that good. The cabbage could of been better and the j*** chicken, all I can say is who can't make chicken! Maybe if the man severing would of been more friendly the food might of tasted better. For this I give 1 star... Do better with the people you hire in you establishment. This was 10/16/22 about 1pm. Teach this guy please!!!!
