I went into a time warp to 2020 the other day at the Voorhees, NJ BJ's location. Proof time travel exists. Approximately every 3 minutes in between the reminder to keep your curtain-crawling crumb-crunchers with you, an effeminate voice expressed "We care about your health at BJ's. Please maintain social distancing of 6 feet from other customers and associates." Don't you feel all warm and comforted because BJ's cares about you? How about firing the Millennial marketing dope who thinks we are idiots and just play music. I have complained about this before. If it doesn't change soon, Doc Brown, Marty McFly and I are heading over to Costco.

I waited more than 30 minutes to checkout. There was a group of three who stopped the line for this entire time, and I was second to them. There was no response from the employees to try and help speed up the process. Despite a line spanning more than 20 people, there was only ever one check out station available. There was one worker who checking people out at the Self Checkout area. Why couldn't they just open another line? Even more infuriating, there were two supervisors that stood around and were chatting away without concern for the situation. It's was only after I finally checked out, and only 2 people were left in the line, that another line opened. What's the point of opening another line when there's no one left? I felt cheated out of my time, and numerous times I thought of leaving without my groceries. The idea that this could happen again makes me never want to go back.

The Voorhees BJ's is ultra-convenient to shop at both in terms of getting in and getting out quickly and efficiently. The location is right off the main road and easy to access with minimal traffic, unlike other wholesale clubs in the general area that shall go unnamed. Once inside, the checkout experience is easy and painless, unlike the aforementioned wholesale clubs. Plus, you can use the app to "scan and go" to expedite the checkout process, similar to how Walmart offers it to their Walmart+ customers. Though the lack of stellar customer service here can leave a lot to be desired, the quick in and out experience you can achieve leaves even less to complain about. While everyone else is fighting through traffic and standing in lines just to check out at the unnamed wholesale club in the next town, I'll gladly continue shopping here with ease. (And for a significantly less annual price for membership!) BONUS TIP: I've found that the quietest times to shop here are usually during weekday or Sunday evenings.

This isn't my "home" BJ's Club. This is near my employer. I got everything we needed - plates, chicken tenders, cheese, sliced apples, and water (their brand is always $3.99 for 40 full sized!) It's nicely laid out and clean. I love the self check out lanes!!!

I saw a horribly long line and thought WOW we are gonna be here forever BUT the line moved quick and everybody was pleasant! The store was clean and well stocked

Great $25 off $100 purchase coupon. You just have to mail the coupon in with the receipt afterwards. Always clean. Great deals. Had chicken consistently throughout covid pandemic.
