While getting food out may have been a bit slow, it was wonderful not being rushed. Food was excellent with perfect sized portions. The appetizer sampler was enough for 3 and meal in and of itself. The mixed gill featured perfectly seasoned and cooked lamb.

Very good food, but service was painfully slow. If you are on your lunch hour, I think it's best to look elsewhere. Other than that, everything was delicious, especially the beet appetizer. A very clean restaurant that is spacious and bright. Worth a try!

We had my husbands 70th birthday dinner here with family because we love this restaurant. The food is always fantastic authentic greek. We ordered many appetizers and love their Dolmades. We ordered the Moussaka,Pork chop and Lamb dishes and they were all amazing. They made a special effort for my husbands birthday for dessert. Great service ,great food, great for special occasions.

Came to Black Olive for our first visit and it didn’t disappoint. The restaurant is adorable with an atmosphere that is warm and cozy. The food was positively delicious. Everything was fresh and homemade. We especially loved the octopus, the feta in honey sauce, and the yemista. Dessert was exceptional - homemade orange soaked cake and phyllo filled with custard to go with Greek coffee. For as amazing as the food was, the service was even better. Our server, Ashley, was impeccable. Her kind, friendly, demeanor made us feel at home immediately, but her love and passion for the food came through in all her recommendations. We took her up on almost all of them and she was spot on every time. Don’t miss a chance to visit this Mediterranean gem, and say hi to Ashley!

Have not been to this restaurant in years. Apparently under new ownership for the past couple of years and I would say they've really upped their game. We enjoyed the baked eggplant appetizer and the Plaki as the appetizer. Service was spot on with enough time allowed to enjoy the app before the salad and the salad before the entree. Will definitely return.
