Best Greek food in the area! As close as mom cooking in the kitchen as you can get. Highly recommend for those looking for a Greek culinary experience in a taverna like setting. The Greek music playing softly in the background just completes the ambiance.

Black Olive serves authentic Greek food. Moussaka and patsitsio are real standouts as is the shrimp appetizer, but everything is fresh and well prepared. Staff is friendly and capable. Always a delight to eat here.

It was a very quiet night at the Black Olive with only 6 patrons in the restaraunt. The food was outstanding with, possibly, the best pastitio(sp) I've ever had. The octopus salad was tender and flavourful. Unfortunately our server was inattentive and forgot to put my partners salad dressing in the side. She didn't want to send it back but only at a small portion. I had to flag him down several times and he only has two tables. We haven't been here in while but the food is always wonderful!

Our meal was excellent! Everyone in my party ordered some type of fish, all of which was fresh and beautifully prepared. We will definitely return for another enjoyable meal.

Very authentic place! I got the gyro and it was excellent and a large portion. The try three was definitely worth it, hummus, babaganush, and something that included red pepper was incredible. Pita bread was clearly home made and amazing.

Just amazing!! The food was top quality, service was awesome and atmosphere very pleasant. We ordered a good variety of items from the menu and everything came out great! The seafood kritharoto is to die for!!!! The specials watermelon arugula appetizer is amazing as well, I hope they incorporate it in their everyday menu… Highly recommend!
