I have to sadly give this place a 4 star instead of 5 because it is a hit or miss. I had ordered a cake and it was so dry… and then the next time I ordered it was moist and perfect. Cakes vary sadly.. however it is a good place to get a birthday cake or try their cute sweets in the front.

Most people in South Jersey know that this is the absolute best bakery around. As I sit here eating a leftover strawberry cupcake from my wedding, I am seriously in awe of how damn good this cupcake is. We ordered 3 flavors of cupcakes (lemon, strawberry, and chocolate/vanilla) and mini dessert assortments. Everything was, like the entire bakery, exceptional. I would not have ordered from ANYWHERE else. All I can say is that it is always packed for a reason!!! (with that in mind, I called about 5 weeks in advance and would definitely recommend doing that or sooner for a big order!!!)
Also-- we loved them so much we had a family member pick up the desserts for us and bring them to our venue in Philly. It can be done!!

Sweet Eats Bakery was amazing! I needed a cake for a special occasion and Justin was such a big help. He made the whole process so easy and really cared about getting everything just right.
The cake turned out even better than I imagined — it looked gorgeous and tasted just as good. Everyone at the party was blown away and kept asking where it came from.
Huge thanks to Justin and the team for making the day extra special. I’ll definitely be coming back for more cakes in the future!

Their treats are really good, nice and moist, not too sweet, a wide variety of flavors and those specialties are to die for, not literally lol! I love the cleanliness and although there may be lines the wait is worth it. I hope you give them a try. Oh and the staff in my own experience have been courteous friendly and helpful.

We started going to Sweet Eats a few years ago and have bought/ordered every birthday cake and special occasion cake from them since. Everything we’ve tried from them has been delicious.
However, today we picked up a birthday cake for my daughter’s 10th birthday and were extremely disappointed. It is not at all what we ordered, we were charged extra for a rough texture but got a regular cake. My husband had said this isn’t at all what we ordered and was told “this is what you ordered, there’s no way we can do another cake.”
It’s upsetting because we’ve seen the photos of custom cakes and they look amazing. Other birthdays we’ve ordered for have been great, this one for a somewhat special birthday was a total disappointment. I don’t think we would order from them again, but will still buy items in the bakery for pick up.
Can't order for weekends.
