The food tasted authentic, was very aromatic, and each meal's spice level was as requested. The food took a bit to make which to me, means it was made fresh!! Well worth the price!!
Vegetarian options: The vegetable korma was very hearty!!
In late June, 2023, my family called ahead to Nimit Palace in Voorhees NJ for a reservation and let them know that we would be there in 45 minutes or so. We also informed the person answering the phone that one of our party had a severe nut allergy to which the person responded that their "food had no nuts". When we arrived, we were quickly seated and immediately bombarded with suggestions for appetizers and other dishes. We reminded Paul (not sure if he was an owner, manager, host or a server) our teenage daughter had a severe nut allergy and he told us that "their food had no nuts". After a couple of minutes we picked several appetizers and some plain and onion naan. The food we ordered came out 20 minutes later along with some other items we did not order. One was a mysterious serving of naan. After being reassured by the wait staff it was cheese naan that did not have nuts, we gave all the food a try. Bad move! My daughter began to get a reaction to the mysterious naan. When a manager was questioned, they admitted that the naan was something called Kabuli naan which had cashews in it. With this information the situation got more serious and we prepared to leave the restaurant, administer epinephrine, and head to the hospital. To our surprise, we were stopped by the staff to make sure we paid for the naan and appetizers!! This set us back 5 critical minutes as we checked out. We arrived at the ER and we were told our daughter was going into anaphylaxis shock. I wont go into all the gory details, but for 5 hours we anguished about how this was going to turn out. She was finally stable enough to go home at 1:15 AM. The ER bill was over $4,000. We of course have reached out to Nimit management and ownership and did not receive a single response to our inquiries. We are not sure what we should do next about this situation, but we believe Nimit Palace should be made to rectify the situation and take precautions to prevent this from happening to other unsuspecting customers. STAY AWAY
AMAZING family owned authentic Indian!! We cant find too many authentic Indian places in South Jersey but thats okay because Nimit is all you need. We LOVE this place. Always easy to order and get to go. Friendly staff. The guy who always runs the phone even knows our orders and gives us extra sides when we get to go. VERY delicious. Nimit will not let you down.
We ate lunch here. It is Nimit Palace not Tandoori Junction. They told me they use that name online. . We had Butter Chicken and Balti goat with naan and rice. Both are very good. I really enjoyed my goat, tender and full of flavor. The serving size is on the smaller side but goat is expensive. It was enough for me but may not be for someone with a bigger appetite. Get an appetizer. ?The servers are nice and food came out in about 15 minutes. The place is clean although I didn’t use the restroom. Price is reasonable for the taste. We will come back.

Restaurantji Recommends
Probably the best and most welcoming restaurant we’ve ever been. As soon as you walk in the door they will open the door for you since then you will feel the hospitality of the restaurant. They will explain to you as much as you want to know about their food. Of course food is so mouthwatering and reasonable. I would love to revisit them as soon as I can. Thank you and keep up your great work ??

Not very good dishes
After trying several Indian delivery options, we stumbled upon Tandoori Junction and have been loyal customers ever since. The food is consistently fantastic, with a perfect blend of spices and flavors that always leave us satisfied. The delivery service is also top-notch, with friendly and efficient staff ensuring that our food arrives hot and fresh every time.
