Great Italian place. The veal chop parmesan was fantastic and pounded very thin. You could tell it was super fresh. Staff was friendly and the service was great. Dessert was also a huge hit. Get the chocolate covered bananas

Was booking a reservation for four on a Saturday night I know they are a BYOB as well as a liquor license when I book the reservation I was told there was a $20 cork fee per bottle. I find that a bit much since we are already spending enough to have a dinner out that 20 could go towards an appetizer. Cancelled our reservation.

Ordered takeout tonight. For takeout, I was very impressed. For how the food was though, it was fine. I ordered the snapper bellavista. The spinach that came with it was so bland. I get it is spinach but it should at least have salt and some oil or garlic. I got a side of potatoes for 7.95$. I couldn't believe the portion that it came with. There were 5 mini potatoes - I could not believe it. Such a ripoff and so ridiculous. The potatoes were undercooked for the most part and just tasted like salt and old oil. The snapper itself was really good and the sauce that it was topped with was delicious. I would definetley get it again. I have been to Andrea's numerous times over the years and I was definetley disappointed with this experience but I will keep coming back because the food is usually consistently good.

To start off, I believe that I have been here before, but maybe not. This was before I started writing yelp reviews though, and i'm here now! Andreas is a local staple in Waldwick, NJ, that serves Italian Fare food. Went here on Thursday July 17th 2025 with my parents and my cousin, and his friend. We made a reservation in case it was busy there, and good thing, because around 7 or so it was starting to get busy! Highly recommend one does make a reservation. Was greeted by a host, who sat us at a table. Duly note, I did feel a little chilly, but always bring my sweater for that reason. The table was set with a wine glass, and a water glass, and silverware. perfect for an eventful dining experience. Our server came over right away and introduced himself. Only con is I really couldn't understand him that well, especially when he stated the specials. Anyways, we started with 5 waters, and some also ordered titos with sprite. My cousin also brought some wine with him- not sure if this place is BYOB (bring your own booze). We started off with Fried Calamari, Tomato and Mozzarella, and Zuccinhi Fritti. Food came out in a timely manner- we also took a while to look over the menu. I enjoyed the Zuccini and fried calamari! Finally we decided what we wanted-- I ordered the Zuppa De pesci, which was pasta with mussels, salmon, calamari, shrimp, and scallops. Some of the other dishes my party got was the scallop scampi, and some veal dish. I very much enjoyed my seafood entree- oh and the salad came with it too! I ate most of my meal, but then also took some leftovers home with me. Oh, and the server didn't quite communicate with me that they box the leftovers, but once i got the message, it was all good. Paid via a gift card, then the balance with a credit card, and left a cash tip. Highly recommend stopping at Andreas in Waldwick! If we are ever in the area again, would definitely go!

Solid place. Jimmy was great to our table. Everything was fresh nothing reheated. Amazing specials. A full bar and you can BYOW, that is something. Will be back many times. Many. MAKE sure you park directly in front or directly behind, or you will get a ticket.

Have gone twice for lunch. Both times the salad and entree was excellent. Bread was hot and fresh. Nice warm atmosphere, well decorated.

Been dining at Andreas for 25+ years and it's painful to see the slow downturn over the years. What used to be a local gem has become too large with little attention to detail. It's now serviced by inexperienced and untrained young staff. The food has lost its quality flair and delightful taste. Freshness now also an issue. After remaining such a loyal customer, im afraid it's lost it's place on my dining schedule. Very sad...

I came for dinner with no reservation tonight, an unexpectedly busy Saturday night. My first experience at this restaurant and the customer service was exceptional. Despite the high volume of guests and no reservation, the hostess was welcoming, professional, and efficient. I used to work as a host back in my days so i tend to admire and appreciate when hostesses are able to handle busy nights with grace. Once seated, the service remained top-notch, with attentive staff and prompt food delivery from the waiters. Amazing food I can tell its homemade and that truly warms my heart. The hospitality made the night special, and I highly recommend for both great food and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be returning!
