Gearblock Brewing Company

Seems every time I go here there are young kids sitting at the bar (next to their parents). The place is not big & these youngins are taking up prime real estate for paying patrons! Is it even legal to allow kids to sit at a brewery bar? Please change the policy and require families with kids to sit at the tables. As far as the beer goes, it is pretty good. Wife likes the pilsner & the IPAs are decent. Darker beers are all ok. Staff is always friendly, accommodating & efficient. So 5 stars for the great staff, 4 stars for the beer, 1 star for the policy.

Good variety of beers, but some are overly hoppy (in styles that are supposed to be balanced) and the staff don't seem knowledgeable on which ones. There's also seemingly more children than adults there sometimes, not a great adult atmosphere.

Used to be a bar, now a daycare. Don't go if you don't like being surrounded by misbehaving children while their parents ignore them.

Great staff and atmosphere. Beer is always fresh. The menu changes all the time, which is pretty cool. Local to me, but I’d say it’s worth the trip.

Excellent selection of craft beer. Run by the owner and his wife. Plenty of regulars, but thet make sure everyone feels welcomed.

No food... which is what I love. A great stop for a solid beer!

Had three or four of their different types of beers and wasn't totally impressed. Hopefully they work on better quality!

Perfect spot for a private party! We hosted my husband’s surprise 40th birthday at Gearblock. Reasonable price to rent out the space for the evening and we could bring our own food (ordered pizza and wings down the street from Nellie’s). Also permitted us to bring a few bottles of wine and seltzers for non-beer drinkers. Everyone had a wonderful time and service was exceptional. Excellent variety of beers. Thank you for the special evening!

Excellent rotation of craft brews and nice patio in both the front and back. Lots of parking and knowledge staff. Locals pretty much all know each other and prices are at or even below other breweries in the area. Kid and dog friendly, can’t go wrong with this place !

If I could give 10 stars I would! We recently rented out Gearblock for a surprise celebration for our dad who finally retired and also our parents 41st wedding anniversary! The staff was incredible, kind, and beyond helpful. They helped make our party the best it could be. Their space is great and comfortably fit our party of 60 with ease! I highly recommend renting their space for your next event! We are so thankful to them for helping us make lasting memories!

I cannot thank Gear Block Brewery enough for helping make my parents' surprise party absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, the team was beyond amazing. The venue was perfect—spacious, warm, and inviting—and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly.
The service was exceptional. The staff was incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely excited to be part of such a special celebration. We felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands.
